What's your budget for "spending" money?

I'd rather spend on experience than stuff which means I'll pay for a character meal before I'll shop. Our kids save money a year in advance, so all their souvies and spending money comes out of their budget. Last trip we bought a Christmas ornament for us and for MIL. We bought a round or 2 of Mickey ice cream bars, 2 big WDW pencils, and 2 small pencils. I've picked up some things on clearance at the DS like Pooh pinwheels and pens that I will give to the kids. Guess we spend so little on extras that $100 would be ample for a week.

We were there for 9 days back in June and for just spending money for souvenirs we spent about $500. This included the hair wraps, the surrey bike rental, the tatoos, pictures and small gifts. There was 4 of us, dh, myself, dd (5) and ds (1). Now I will say though that dd had $100 of her own money for spending. We did buy her some things, but she also bought herself plenty. This was money that she got for Easter and kindergarten graduation and such. She actually came home with some Disney dollars left over. She can use them this June. I also plan to put some in her Christmas stocking, she'll get some for Valentine's Day and for Easter. Since we go often, I don't worry about buying a ton of things. I guess if I didn't go as often or if it was the once in a lifetime trip, I would at least double to $1000 or maybe $1500.

Free4Life11 - hair wraps! There are when girls get the thread wrapped around their hair and then there is beads and stuff at the bottom. It is charged by the inch (I think at Boardwalk, it was $1.50 an inch.) My dd's hair was 13 in long and with the beads and stuff it the total amt came to $31. It did last most of the summer, but they are not cheap!
