Recently got back from a great trip to the World. One thing that I hate, that we deal with ALL the time is ANNOYING, SELF-IMPORTANT guest who don't make their way all the way down the row in theatres (Philharmagic, Tough to be a Bug, etc). I am a quiet guy, keep to ourselves at WDW, but I can't help but raise my voice at these people! They always try to play it off as they either don't speak english or just cant hear a crowd of people yelling at them! Cast Members need to take some of the responsibility too! They will tell people to move, but if they dont they do nothing about it. Ugh! One day I am gonna loose it in a theater! :furious:

*donning flame suit* People using strollers, wheelchairs, and ECV's as battering rams.

I hate meal plans.

I dont use them, but everyone else does apparently. I cant get into any restaurant anymore. We were at Epcot on Sat and EVERY sitdown restaurant was "booked solid" for the entire evening. We werent even allowed to wait.

They might as well go ahead and use regular reservations in that case.

Either people cutting in line, or kids that chase the ducks/rabbits. It's really a toss up.

Strollers! Strollers! Strollers! :furious:

I also can't stand people just stopping right in front of you...like there isn't a huge crowd walking right behind you! It's rude and annoying to me! WDW is packed, so you need to be aware of all the people around you!

That goes for the people with strollers too!

And...people feeding the birds! Read the signs people..."Don't feed the birds!" Why is it so hard to follow the rules? You're doing more harm than good! I mean...C'mon!!

:furious:

Oh,yeah. That reminds me. Our first day at WDW we went to Epcot. We were walking up the walk way to the land to soaring... This crazy wITCH of a woman comes running down with her 11 year old on a Wheelchair like its a roller coaster yelling WATCH OUT! She was obvious playing with him. Her little husky kid was laughing all the way down. Now, the walkway to the Land Pavillion is only so wide. I see this lady come down running, lost control of the wheelchair straight at me. I move my gf out of the way so she wont get hit. I had nowhere to run, BAM! Right at my leg! I didnt trip , but she and her son fell down, knees first.

I helped her and her kid up and not even a thanks or sorry! My knees were hurting the whole day! Luckily, I was fine the next day. Ugh! Sometimes I wonder if all people who have wheelchairs really need them.

I'm with you! I'm putting my flame suit on as well............
also children who feel the need to sit on every gaurd rail/ chain in every line.. and the parents who allow this behavior

My pet peeve is people standing in a crowd waiting for a parade or show who won't let you by or look at you like you have two heads when you say excuse me and try to get past them. I realize that it may look like I am trying to get in front of them but honestly, I could care less about the blasted parade. I'm just trying to get the heck out of there and pushing through the crowd is the only way OUT. I swear, some people started cussing at us for trying to get by them to get to main street. I'm sorry, but there was no other alternative.

In slight defense of the stroller issue, I used to feel the same way before I had kids. Then I made the huge mistake one time of renting one of WDW's strollers. Let me tell you, those things are so bulky and long that it is really hard to see what is directly ahead of you and to avoid running into anything. After that, I would only take my own but I can see how people mistakenly get run into with those things.

Im with ya cgcruz.. that irritates me too..

also.. the last minute try-and-get-in-front-of-you parade people! UGH!! Ive been here for an hour, dont even THINK about pushing in front of me. lol I will always invite the nice quiet child standing behind me to join my kids up front.. but i hate when pushy people just shove thier kids in front of you.

bad black pug- we had some lady in a scooter knock over TWO kids at one time in our group at the SAME TIME!! One of them was my daughter. Her and our friend's son Robert were both laying on the ground!!! SHe didnt even say sorry or ask if they were ok.. just kept on going!!!! :furious:

The not saying sorry or thanks , sadly I am used to it. Im from the Washington, D.C. area, so people don't get any more self-important or rude than here. But, I just expect a little common courtesy / sense from people!

Waiting for people to take the perfect picture before you can walk by. THey may take three or four pics and you stand there waiting for them to finish before you can walk by.

People that don't know what they want to order when they are at the front of the line. YoU seem to be waiting in an endless line when the person in front of you finally reaches the CM at the register. Then they stand there looking at the menu trying to decide what to order. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE know what you want before you get to the register. There are people behind you that are hungry!!!

People that take forever with a character. Get your autograph book out and be ready. Get your autograph, take your pic, say a few things and move out of the way for the next family.

These are just a few. I am sure that I commit some of other people's Pet Peeves too.

Rude CM's and rude people! I can't stand it when someone does something so rude and NEVER apologizes for it. I'm from the south, and I always say thank you to nice people or sorry if I bump into them. It's the LEAST thing I can do!
And to the RUDE CM's who never think of their stupid, rude actions, who might leave a bad impression, and actually ruin someone's vacation!

popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

People who yell at their kids to have a good time or else! :rotfl2: I expect everyone w/a stroller or ECV to be as careful of other people as I am, otherwise look out!

And people that aren't prepared at their character meetings - have your pen, paper and camera ready to go!

Those are both of my biggest pet peeves! I hate line cutters! If there is a family of 4 and three of them are already in line waiting for 1 person, that's fine. But 1 person can't hold the line for 20! And I work in animal rescue...my bunnies are my children and nothing makes me made like people chasing after the wildlife. We actually had a big discussion about this on another thread a couple months ago...the debate was between parents who think it's cute when they get pictures of birds flying around their kids (which I can understand...those are cool pics), and between us animal-rights-movement-activist-people who look at it as something 10 times your size running up to you, screaming incoherently arms flailing and scaring the daylights out of you and your family while your taking a leisurely stroll through WDW.....but that's just me and my humle opinon. :teeth: As far as I'm concered, that is WAY better then the girl behind us in line for the Safari who, upon seeing a little bunny on the side of the line, yelled out "skin it and eat it!" Totally uncalled for....
:confused3

I remember that thread well...I think I was the one who got the debate started  because I offended someone who thought it was OK. :confused3

Let' see, some have already been mentioned *flame suit on*

Strollers
Parties of more than 2 people joining people further up the line
People who don't know what to order when they get to the register.
People who wait to get to the register to ask their children what they want.
People who wait to be told the total at the register and then and only then they reach for their wallet to get their money or card. Did they expect it to be free?
People who wait at the FP return entry to wait for their time. Step back 10 feet.
Shoes with wheels.
Flash photography in dark rides.
People video taping dark rides or a fireworks show with the camera's LCD open so that they can blind everyone around them.
Blinky toys near me during fireworks shows.
Kids being forced on rides.
People reciting the dialog during rides (yes, I've been here before too, I'm not impressed.)
People who get to the loading CM and don't know how many people are in their party.

I people sit down in the middle of a row at a theater, I always try to make a big deal out of going past them, if I can step on a foot, even better.

umm...I have 2!
1) When people use wheelchairs when they don't need them - hey I get tired too - I am definately not used to walking miles and miles in the heat for several days at a time but that's part of the Disney experience and fun? Leave the chairs for people who truly need them!

2) This one is kind of bad but I have a really sensitive nose ... but bad body odor when you are in line ... I want to loan them my Bath & Body Works Spray to help them out! (Especially if it's a long line!) :guilty:

When we were there last week crowds were low and the CM's weren't asking everyone to go all the way across the rows. I am sure during busier times they enforce it.

Just go around them if they don't move. Not a big deal.
