What's Your Biggest Pet Peeve at Disney World?

I remember that thread well...I think I was the one who got the debate started  because I offended someone who thought it was OK. :confused3

I think it was both of us who started it :rotfl:

2) This one is kind of bad but I have a really sensitive nose ... but bad body odor when you are in line ... I want to loan them my Bath & Body Works Spray to help them out! (Especially if it's a long line!) :guilty:

OMG! The very WORST is riiiight before you get on BTMR on that 'ramp' down in that 'hole' where it's packed with NO moving air.

Let' see, some have already been mentioned *flame suit on*
People who don't know what to order when they get to the register.
People who wait to get to the register to ask their children what they want.
People who wait to be told the total at the register and then and only then they reach for their wallet to get their money or card. Did they expect it to be free?
People video taping dark rides or a fireworks show with the camera's LCD open so that they can blind everyone around them.
Blinky toys near me during fireworks shows.
People reciting the dialog during rides (yes, I've been here before too, I'm not impressed.)
People who get to the loading CM and don't know how many people are in their party.

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :happytv: :lmao:

Speaking of bad body odor, a very annoying thing is people who Break wind, ESPECIALLY on lines! Seriously people, i'm sure you might of had a very hearty lunch, but take care of your business in the restrooms! Either hold it in, or get off the line! Having no choice but to stay in the Contamination Zone in a 30 minute line totally, well... Blows!

oh yes, i fogot, people who don't move all the way down the aisle. I am sure that they heard the announcement. I always make comments as I pass by them. Do they think that the show is only for them? I always try to pick the longer line in the row because i know that i will end up in the middle somewhere.

People who sing along with the music. If you were that good you would either be the one up there performinge or I would have seen you on American Idol already. Please keep it to yourself.

I hate it when people think that adults or teenagers have no right to get an autograph or a picture with a character!
I was in a long queue the other week in MK for Timon. I was patiently waiting with my autograph book, I was second in line and we were told that Timon would have to go away after seeing me.
But then some little kid comes running up to Timon from the BACK of the line and goes to hug him etc.
Everyone turns around to see where this kid came from, and his parents are just stood there with his stroller and they say, "Well he's there already, he may as well just take his pic now". :sad2: It made me so mad! I'm just glad the CM sent the kid back to his parents...

Aww...come on now, sometimes you just can't hold it in. I know I try but gas happens. :rotfl: I try to be considerate but I can't see myself ducking out of a line I waited in for an hour just to pass a little gas. ;) Okay, I'm not saying this has happened that many times or that I even remember. I just know that it is a hard thing to control. Plus, I'm pregnant so these days those bodily functions tend to be worse.

Ok here goes... Oh I can feel my blood boiling already... :furious: ( ;) :lmao: )

1. People who use strollers as a way to part crowds for themselves.

2. People who use children as a way to part crowds for themselves.

3. People who send their children to cut in front of you like you haven't been waiting in that spot for a long time!

4. RUDE PEOPLE!!

5. People who seem to think the rules don't apply to them (i.e. suddenly, conveniently non-english speaking, smoking outside the areas, bringing a drink/food into a place they're not supposed to and then jamming the container anywhere they please when they finish it, etc. etc.)

6. People who use REALLY loud bad language.

7. CUTTERS, CUTTERS, CUTTERS!!!!!!!!!

8. The people who don't understand Fast Pass so insult you as you walk thru the much shorter fast pass queue (i can't TELL you how many times this has happened to us!! even though the info on fast pass is EVERYWHERE!!)

Im sure I could go on and on but it's time for me to shut down for the day... :rolleyes1

People who talk on their cell phone during an attraction or ride. Yeah, we get it, you have a cell phone; you're THAT important.

Cell phones ringing and their owners who don't know how to answer them or can't find them to answer them - especially during attractions. Put it on vibrate.

Parents who force their kids to go on rides or see characters that they clearly are afraid of.

Waiting a whole year before being able to go to Disney again :guilty:

I agree with many that have been mentioned. Here is one more:
Big hairy men wearing tank tops. YUCK! Get away from me.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

the parents who let there little kids play with the chains in lines as there constantly swinging them and hitting your legs... :sad2: then they look at them and laugh and think its cute

I had that happen to me during Star Wars Weekends with Chewbacca. I had been waiting for 15 minutes and some WITCH just jumps in front of me. I said something to her and she said, "Well, we want a photo, too." Yeah, lady. And so do the thirty people behind me. Karma is a....well, you know.

Agreed. I mean, yeah - it stinks, but you can't expect people not to be human.

I will agree with what people say about parents letting their kids get away with murder at the park. Let's face it: We all paid to get into the parks. That makes your kids no more special than any adult around them.

Here's mine - I am a rather short person. When DH and I choose seats in shows (Fantasmic, Beauty and the Beast, etc.) we try to choose spots that are on an aisle or where I will be behind a child, so I can see. Then, parents decided the second that the show starts, to trade seats and/or put the child in their lap and scoot over, so that they are now right in front of me. It happens quite often. I choose a seat specifically so I can see, and the people in front of us change at the last minute so I can't move. It's very frustrating for me. :sad2:

Man, I was so mad at Fantasmic this year!!! My DH and I had gotten one of the benches up front, first row, that hold about 4 adults. Well, it was us two and two other teenage girls. We were comfortable and waited there over a hour for the show!! Then, some spanish woman with 6 kids comes strolling all the way through the crowds, down to the bottom 5 mins before the show!! Do you not see the place is full!? You're last!! You sit in the back...way at the top!!! She 6 children were just places all over the place by themselves...the mother just smushed them in a spot...where ever they would fit and she took off! Who does that to their children and then leave them unattended!? These were little children!! I mean...they are next to strangers and anything could happen in this size crowd! Well, her 4-year old daughter was smushed inbetween me and my DH and the two teens. I was ticked that this little girl was just thrown here up front for no reason and smushed next to me. No, it's not her fault, but it is the mother's!! I mean...who do you think you are!!??? :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

My biggest pet peeves are the people who don't go to the end of the rows in the theaters when asked - repeatedly sometimes. I have been there during non-peak seasons and the people were told they did not have to to move the entire way down. That is fine.

People who swear and curse at WDW... I've only heard it a few times but each time I had been appalled!! There is no need to use the F-word at Disney. At a smoky bar - ok. In line for It's A Small World - not ok! :rotfl:

We actually had a big discussion about this on another thread a couple months ago...the debate was between parents who think it's cute when they get pictures of birds flying around their kids (which I can understand...those are cool pics), and between us animal-rights-movement-activist-people who look at it as something 10 times your size running up to you, screaming incoherently arms flailing and scaring the daylights out of you and your family while your taking a leisurely stroll through WDW.....but that's just me and my humle opinon. :teeth: As far as I'm concered, that is WAY better then the girl behind us in line for the Safari who, upon seeing a little bunny on the side of the line, yelled out "skin it and eat it!" Totally uncalled for....
:confused3

LOL! I'm sorry to laugh but I guess being a country girl and having eaten rabbit *gasp* on several occasions I thought that was funny. I don't think anyone would actually kill and skin a rabbit at Disney. Had it actually happened then I would be offended. Disney is not the place to hunt! lol

P.S. My kids don't chase ducks or birds. I won't allow my kids to do that.

The most irritating thing is when your waiting at the resort for the bus
when up comes 1 wheelchair accompanied by 6-7-8 even 10 other people
and they all go to the rear door to get on with the wheel chair, while the other hundred people are waiting in line to board. This is the most irritating thing there is.

Yeah, I dont get it why the Bus driver let so many in! Ok, the person in the wheelchair Plus 1 is fine, but a whole family is too many!

I have to say that my pet peeve is also with people in wheelchairs that don't need them. I hate nothing more than watching some young kid go straight to the front of the line, and then bounce right out of the wheelchair to the next awaiting doonbuggie...ugh!!!! People should be thankful that they are able to walk around WDW on thier own and don't have to depend on a wheelchair- those people who haev to depend on wheelchairs and the like would give anything to be able to walk on Splash Mountain!

p.s. Scubamouse, we are going to be at the WL with you in November-- Nov 28-Dec 4 for us :thumbsup2
