Gift card churning, at it's basic definition, is buying a gift card at a discount using reseller sites or points you may have through a credit card or some other way of getting it cheaper and then turning that gift card into one you can use better or sell. Some retailers will allow you to buy a gift card with a gift card so some people just 'churn' once to get what they want. Others will 'churn' through multiple stores going through cash back sites each time to earn even more money.

My biggest ever was $99.95 in 2012. I think it also amazing to see how much you've received since the beginning. My total is $1,100.55 and my first check received was in February 2000. That was a long time ago!

Wow - year 2000...I just looked and my total is 914.65 but my first check wasn't issued until August 2007. I had no idea ebates had been around since 2000 or earlier.

Technically, yes. Sometimes, you can add a small item to your order and ebates will payout on the entire order. But it is YMMV.

I love eBates, but my biggest check has only been around $70. I absolutely love it now that they've added the "button" -- i don't know what it's actually called. But whenever I'm on a site that they are affiliated with, a little pop-up appears to tell me what percentage they offer. I don't have to remember to go to the eBates website first, and search for my desired shopping site. So much easier! Free money is my favorite.
