We didn't get a chance to shop the outlets on this trip, but I would like to next time. What are the really great deals (Disney-wise) you've found there? Also, which outlet do you like best?

The two outlets @ Belz. "Character Warehouse"(?) & "Character Premier". We have gotten really nice adult T's as low as $4.99 and sweatshirts or pullovers as low as $9.99. The merchandise changes constantly, so we sometimes go at the begining of the week and then just before we go home. Give it a try, you might find a great bargain!

Try these links:

From WDW, we get on I-4 east to exit 30A (now 75A). Turn right at the end of the exit ramp then turn left at the light. Go straight for about 2 miles.

From WDW, take Hotel Resorts Blvd (across from Downtown Disney), make a right at the light at 535, then left at the next light (Vineland), go about 2 miles.

We usually do better at Belz, but this last time struck out at all 3 (2 at Belz and 1 at Premium Outlets). They mostly had leftover 100 years of magic in small or really large sizes and they weren't marked down as much as last year. Last year I got $48 & $58 sweatshirts for under $20.

We hit both outlets on our last day. We did a character breakfast, checked out of WL and then hit the outlets! They were wonderful!. I got boxed candy with disney character faces on them for 2.99 a box. I also got a few t-shirts for 4.99 and an XXL for my dh for 7.99. My daughter got a cute Mickey and friends picture thing that holds a picture on a wire. It says "Been there, done that GOING BACK".... really cute. We spent wayyyy to much TIME but not alot of money. It was a great place to get things to take back to friends. Definately worth the trip!;)

Our best bargain was a couple of years ago when we found a Disney clock(PEWTER,limited edition) that orig. sold for $125 for $39!!!!

Last trip in April it turned chilly and dh and I both found some great jackets for $29 that orig had been over $100.

I usually do this on one of the first days we go...I spend less on stuff at the parks and many times they are selling the same merchandise. They all have some of the same things and many different things....so I hit all three if possible. If not, I go to the two at Belz.

Here are some of my bargains:
$275 Waterford Crystal MM Ice Bucket = $134.99
$100 MM Necklace and Earrings = $35
$125 MM Watch w/ three bands = $39.99

And tons of t-shirts, pens, and other chatchkes...cheap!

I always find it worth the trip! Many times you find items that are unusual...you know...one woman's trash is another's treasure!

A few years ago we went to Sanibel for Thanksgiving. We left Sanibel and drove to Orlando, but it wasn't time for us to check in at AKL so we went to the outlet mall. It was the day after Thanksgiving, and we were on vacation (as were our brains) so we hit all of the "day after" sales but didn't realize why everything was discounted. Just about everything we bought was 50% off of the outlet price! We were in souvenir heaven, and just for fun, we let our son have everything he picked out ( he was four, and could only hold about five things!). He had a blast, and we spent less than $100 on about $350 (retail) worth of stuff. Even DH liked it!!
:bounce:

Two trips ago I got a leather jacket with all of the parks represented with patches. It is gorgeous! I think it was about 350 retail, and I spent about 149. On one of our first trips, DH and I found blue sweatshirts with a great big embroidered Mickey and the park emblems on the front marked down to 25, at Disney World, in one of the shops. We made a tradition of wearing them (or a different matching set we have) each trip, usually on the plane down. Helps to put us in the Disney mood. But then, it doesn't take much! Ooohhh..can't forget about the stuffed AK gorilla at the outlet sale for about 3., selling in AK for about 20.
Definetly worth the trip!

My bargains this trip...........
The Valentines Mickey Bear (bright red fur) that sold in the parks for $28. I bought it for $5.99
The Easter Mickey Bear (light blue with satin bunny ears) again, $28, for $7.99. I took the ears off and it is really cute.
Clear gel candles in Mickey glass containers. I see them all over the parks for $5 but I bought them at the outlet for $1.99. I plan on re-filling these with gel candle stuff when they burn down. The glass containers alone are worth more than I paid for them.
The Mickey snowglobe representing the float for the Mickey MK parade. I bought mine for $80, but got one for my DIL for $39.99
The stars and stripes PJ's. the long pants with t-shirt was $12.99 originally $38, the short pants with tank top was $9.99 originally $28. They also had the nightshirt, dark blue with the Stars and stripes Mickey head for $12.99 originally $28. This makes a great bathing suit coverup.
I also found tons of sweatshirts and t-shirts for family markded down more than 1/2 off.
I really only check out the Disney shops but my son did find a bathing suit at the Hillfinger outlet originally $48 and he paid $9.99.
My favorite outlet is the Premier Outlet down the street from DTD, but there is more of a selection of items at the Belz outlet so I make sure to check that out while in FL also. I can't imagine not having a car to get around to all the outlets. Definitly worth renting a car even if you are not planning on leaving Disney property. Peggie

I had let my dd wear princess costumes to the Storybook princess breakfast and CRT on two different trips. The last trip in December, we had no breakfast plans with princesses but opted for the 1900 Park Fare. My mother loves this breakfast and my dd was excited to see Alice. She was a little disappointed she wasn't wearing a costume this trip. (guilt guilt)

Wouldn't you know I found an Alice costume in an outlet for 9.99? We were thrilled! I have a great shot of my blonde dd with Alice at breakfast.

I prefer Belz.

picture frames and photo albums- $1.99-$3.99
scrapbook stickers- $1.00
Mickey ear candles- $0.49
adult shirts- $4.99
snowglobes- $5.99
keychains and magnets- 3 for $1.00
