I made mine for dinner last night. Artichokes. DD and I love those things--with butter and lots of lemon. DH decided he wasn't in "an artichoke mood." :confused3 Seriously, how can you not be in an artichoke mood? Particularly if someone else is cooking them. :teeth: He had leftovers which was fine by me because I ate his artichoke, too. :lmao:

So what's your all-time favorite meal? It really is a toss-up for me between artichokes and stuffed grape leaves.

Amy, I love ya babe, but :crazy2:

I don't know if I have a favorite meal...hmmmm...I'm going to go with BBQ chicken with homemade sauce...nothing else necessary...maybe some bread to dip in the sauce...

Pork roast with mashed potatoes and corn.

I also really love roasted asparagus.

Lasagna and chocoalte cake. This was my birthday meal when I was a kid. Throw insome potato pancakes that my "Baba" (grandmother) made, and I was in Heaven.

Obviously not a meal thatwould fit into the current "low carb" craze. ;)

:rotfl2: Are you not in an artichoke mood either? That's okay--more for me!

BBQ chicken is one of my faves, too. But my dad made the best bbq sauce EVER--nothing else compares--and never wrote down the recipe. So, I keep experimenting to try to get it right.

We pay no attention to the low carb craze on THIS thread, Disney Doll! The skies the limit.

My mom's lasagne. Homemade noodles, homemade sauce, lots of cheese, meatballs. Fantastic. Now my sister makes it (since my mom passed away), and hers is pretty darn good too. And she makes an awesome veggie lasagne. :thumbsup2

I'll eat them with ya! When they are in season, we get them right out of the field and as big as a baby's head for $1 each. :woohoo: I eat them as a meal a lot.

My favorite meal is homemade cheese ravioli with meat sauce.

clams casino
tossed salad with Russian dressing
broiled lobster tail with butter...yeah, I said it, bring on the BUTTER
medium rare filet mignon
bottle of Asti Spumante :thumbsup2

or

a medium rare cheeseburger and a beer will work also :teeth:

Woo hoo! I'm gonna come visit you when they're in season! We don't get artichokes that big out here in Michigan. :teeth:

Oh my gosh. I can't believe some of the things people are saying here. I do not eat artichokes, pork roasts of ANY kind, and I'm constantly amazed at the number of people who like sausage and/or hot dogs. YUCK!

Now Cantw8, you and I could eat together any day of the week. Let's toss in some lobster and crab stuffed mushrooms (and we can then toss the mushrooms) and we're all set to go.
