Hi
Delta have had some good prices recently on their new code share with Virgin. I go to book today, and they have all risen to over £2000 in economy! Must be a blip as they are the same price on every day. Virgin are £500 for my dates which is £50 more that what Delta was :-(

delta's prices go up and down through the course of a week...
i wanted to buy tickets inside the US...
i first looked at it when i was considering them - and the price was $136/ticket..
the next day when i decided to book it was over $200/ticket...

so i waited....and waited....and waited.....then boom the prices dropped back to $136....so i bought...

the next day it went over 200 again.....and stayed that way for days..

then again, after a number of days at that price it dropped back down to $136..

and this was for all their flights to that destination on that day - no matter time of the flight (early morning, late night, midday)...all the same.

it is irritating to say the least when they play that way...

Well I gave up on Delta and booked a Virgin miles plus money fair for about the same price, as Delta- though I spent 4000 miles and wont earn any on the flight. Seems lately i'm unlucky in booking flights!

Not sure if they have closed the loophole as I have not tried recently but I have never had a problem claiming missing miles for Miles & Money fares, just try after your trip.
