Whats wrong with Ann Coulter?

Iam Proud of mine I let her out all the time.

Ann was just on Bill O'Riley.

You know he had to take her to task because he is "Fair and Balanced"!

But you could tell he was thinking "Darn.....Your hot!"

It was a classic! :happytv:

She was just on MSNBC boo hooing and crying about people putting words in her mouth! :confused3

I didn't see anyone with a crow bar forcing the F bomb to come out as she stood on that stage a few months ago.

Once again I say this woman is a whack job! I'm glad to see the Edwards campaign is taking the high road so far. :thumbsup2

Unlike last night, today I read clear to the bottom of the thread before chiming in. ;)

Now for my silly little observation:
After I logged off of here, feeling a little bit guilty for interjecting my nonsense into a thread that had turned pretty somber, I turned on the TV news and who was on it??? Yep! it was Ann flapping her gums as usual. (Good Grief! -- as if I wasn't already feeling like a complete doofus...) However, it was the following segment that REALLY caught my attention -- it was about Hatshepsut, a 3000 year old mummy and I SWEAR -- from the photograph, she coulda been Ann's slightly older, nicer*, and somewhat more attractive sister!!!!! DANG!!!! I've done a quickie google image search and cannot find the same pic. There are several online but the lighting is different so the resemblance isn't there nearly so much.
-------
(*Historical footnote here -- I am making a total leap of imagination about the "nicer" part from the somewhat benevolent expression on the mummy's face. There IS a historical anecdote that Hatshepsut's son, upon ascending to the Pharoah's throne, systematically had all the faces of Dear Old Mommy's statues defaced ... so maybe Hattie and Ann have more in common than killer cheek-bones) :confused3

:happytv:

Thanks! That was priceless! Do you listen to Stephanie Miller at all? You should send that to her, she would eat it up!

And don't forget Hatshepsut refused to be called a queen, and demanded to be called a pharoh. Maybe Ann's mummy was a lesbian?

i have always thought she was a really bad drag queen.
It's the large hands, Adam's Apple, and deep voice.

Some have suggested that she's transgendered (and has a whopping big case of self-loathing), but I won't go quite that far. Still, to quote Austin Powers, "She's definitely mannish."

Ann Coulter has a lot of issues. I think her main objective is to say something so hateful that she will be sure to get air time.

I really despise the woman.

Sorry, guys, but markp1 was half-right here:

I think it's a bit hypocritical for Elizabeth Edwards to ask Ann Coulter (or anyone, for that matter), to lay off negative attacks on her husband, who wants, after all, to be the most powerful man in the world.

Agreed. What's doubly annoying is the self-help drivel EE used to attack Coulter. I mean, all that treacle about "dialogue that is based on hatefulness." Sorry, that's WEAK. JUST SAY WHAT YOU MEAN. Call Coulter what she is -- a sorry comedienne who has no business hanging around with adults.

What is wrong with Ann Coulter?

She's a freaking LOON!

How she got a national soapbox to spew her hateful drivel, I will never know.

If you disagree with most why are you here? Just curious. I do not go to the family board and tell them how wrong they are by the way they raise their children (for example).

And in order to provide the other side I feel that first you must make yourself aware of all of the facts. You (by your own post) do not even know what comments were made about their deceased son.

Sorry but I think smartestnumber5 was just calling a spade a spade.:confused3

If I disagree with most, why am I here? That's a fair question. Simple answer is that if we can't discuss our disagreements civilly, how can we expect to learn from each other? I came here partly to learn from others--unfortunately, what I've learned so far is not very encouraging--and partly, if I may say so myself, to hope others can perhaps learn from me (I think there's been even less of that, but hopes springs eternal).

Yep, I agree. She was and is out of line.

Mark, do you really think your comments can do anything other than offend? You are clearly welcome here, and more than allowed to have your own opinion. All we ask, or at least I ask, is that you keep yourself informed of the depth of the issues to this community. These are not simple matters that can be dismissed as "simple name calling." Unless you've experienced hatred directed at you, solely because you breathe and walk on this earth, then you need to open yourself to understanding the viewpoint of those who have (and continue to have) that experience.

Perhaps, with some research and attempt at understanding what it means to be a lesbian or gay in today's society, you will come to the realization that no one deserves to be discriminated against regardless of who they are. No one.

Do I really think my comments can do anything other than offend? Perhaps I'm being naive, but yes I do. I won't deny my comments are provocative, but I did not intend to offend, and truly hope people were not offended. Having said that, and I know I'm treading into dangerous waters here...but the rest of your post displays what I (and I think many heterosexuals) can find so off-putting about the way homosexuals express themselves sometimes, in that they are oh so quick to play the victim. No doubt homosexuals have been treated badly for all the wrong reasons but guess what, so have many conservative Christians. The "nobody knows the troubles I've seen" song doesn't play well any more, and trying to compare who's been treated worse is not much fun either.

Thanks for dealing with the substance of my post. You'd make a really good moderator, sotoalf.

Well, I am a straight, Republican , conservative Christian married woman, and I think Ann Coulter's comments were mean, spiteful, pitiful, and a large cover for lack of anything better to say. What is unamerican to me is saying things about your fellow countrymen with the intent to harm!! I said my peace, say what you will about me, I shall not comment further.:snooty:

Mark do some research on how homosexuals have been treated. Start with mathew shepard and go from there if you are truly intrested in learning what its like to be a homosexual. I honestly think you could care less, dont want to have any discusion just ram across your opinion we are all whiney victims looking for attention living our outrageous lifestyles much to your distain.

What exactly have the conservative christians endured? Who is the last one you know that was tied to fence and beaten to death for being a conservative christian? Attacked and beaten ,spit on leaving a church service? Please share these attacks as to educate me.

Maybe being called crazy and bigoted equates to being beaten within an inch of ones life, I dont know. Homosexuals STILL endure this on a daily basis, but they are playing the victim card, in your opinion.

That entire post is disrespectful and im sorry but I think you know exactly what you are doing.

Peace to you mark, we have all delt with alot here and are pretty good at seeing through most peoples "provocative" posts.

The folks on this board are warm, caring people, they welcome all, will engage in discusions about anything from folks wanting to learn about what it means to be homosexual or anything else for that matter. They will even be kind to you mark, kind and honest and sincere, reguardless if you deserve it or not.

Think mark, think if its worth it for you to come here and redicule and passive agressivly attack these people for your amusement and entertainment.

Please

Hmmm, maybe it's a good idea at this point to get back to the original topic--Ann Coulter and John Edwards. I may not agree with everything Ann Coulter says, but does anyone think she spends $1,250 for a haircut? Has anyone in here ever spent that much on a haircut? The most I've ever spent is $20 (including tip) and it shows!

She cant afford that much for a haircut silly!

She's still paying off her sex change operation! :rotfl2:

Sorry, couldn't resist, and ya I was listening to Stephanie Miller on the way home! :thumbsup2

Just responding to your post there mark. I think talking about hair would suit the situation much better.;)

Markp3 must be watching Fox News, you know "Fair and Balanced"! :lmao:

Edwards haircut seems to be the Fox News bullet point for the evening!:happytv:

Hey Mike --

Who is Stephanie Miller? I googled her and I'm guessing she is some kind of pundit, maybe?:confused3
