What's with this Facebook / Twitter banner ad?

It appears after each first post on each thread.

I keep thinking there are no more replies and stop scrolling. UGH.

Don't like it.

Don't want to have to see ads in the middle of threads. Please move it.

I was just about to post about this. I find it annoying. JMO

I agree... I'm fine with at the top or bottom of the page, but not in the middle.

Every thread I open after reading the first post once I see that ad it makes me think thats all there is! Very annoying.

no - I'm very annoyed with its placement too.

It makes the site VERY hard to read. I don't mind it on the top or bottom but after the 1st reply is very annoying. I agree with everyone else, it makes me think there are no more replies. It really hurts readability.

What skin are you using? I am not seeing it at all? I use the DIS unplugged skin. Wonder if that has something to do with it?

Interesting. I just played with different skins and it does seem to be appearing on many others. You can switch to DISUnplugged skin to get rid of it (I didn't test them all) and it will go away but you will have orange and purple (which I love!).

it happens on every page....it's ticking a lot of us off.
