Given the OP's question, has anyone here read studies about behavioral aspects of internet and e-mail communication?

You'd think someone was doing that. Correlations between e-personalities and "real" personalities.

I'd think there'd be a great interest in profiling e-criminals. And e-sociopaths. Creators of viruses.

BTW, CM, you were never specific about what the MMPI would say about those who can't stay away from such threads (like the occupancy thread).

Agreed. I didn't think I could go into too much on either side of that issue, regardless if part of it were self depricating.

I think I'm also reading there's also a part of the internet discussion under study that let's some get very brave and say things they would not necessarily say in person, especially for males.
