What's with the fp availability?

We've always gone in generally slow periods (beg of Feb or in Sept) and had no issue getting every fastpass we wanted. Not always right at 30 days, and often with overlapping times. But I have been checking probably every hour at least for the past week and haven't seen even one mine train (on two MK days) or FOP. Not even one! (I'm checking just one person at a time).

Will Sept 17-22 be busier than we are expecting, or have they reduced the number of fastpasses than in previous trips (most recent trips were Feb 2015 and Feb 2014 and then Sept 2013).

That's so strange. When I was helping my oldest daughter for her trip, 2 weeks before she had gone, there was still some availability for 7DMT. It wasn't a great time, but they were there.

As for FoP, those seem to totally disappear around 63 days.

You may find some if you keep checking.

Yeah agree it is weird that I haven't seen even 1 mine train FP. I am checking constantly, and having no luck!

FoP is simply not going to be available 30 days out. When I was there they had a CM standing in front of the FastPass line explaining to people they needed to get it 60+ days in advance.

We just got back and a handful of our FP lines were super long as in over 30 minute waits. Perhaps they gave too many for our time period and decided to lower the number given out to lower the FP wait times.

What happens sometimes is if the ride goes down, people who have that fastpass can come anytime until the end of the day.

Those are pretty much the 2 most sought after fastpasses at Disney. I wouldn't take it as a sign of crowds.

That's not strange at all. FoP is nearly impossible at 60 days out, there's really no chance at 30 days.

And while 7dmt can sometimes be had 30 days out, that's not always a guarantee. 7dmt is probably the second most popular FP to get right behind FoP. It being gone at 30 days is pretty much the norm

Now if FP's for say Soarin or Haunted Mansion were all gone, then maybe credit it toward potentially high crowds
