What's with Disney World 2018 reservations?

So I'm not going back until 2019 or 20, but I went online at Disney World.com to price a two week stay in June of 18 to get an idea of what my trip will cost in the following year. I went to my two "maybe" resort choices , POFQ and BWI, but they were both completely booked. Then I checked and EVERY Disney resort is full. That's just not realistic this far out. What's going on?

This has been an issue since the latest "Magical Enhancement" of their website in June. Extremely frustrating.

I've had issues as well. I'd go to price the Poly for June '18, only to find nothing available. I then switch to the GF, finding plenty of room choices. Switch back to Poly, lots of availability/rates....very glitchy .

Just have to keep trying. Availability eventually shows up.

And all of this is why we joined DVC. No more need for last minute "discounts" applied to just a few hotels, no more waiting to book, no more junk. We can book our favorite HOME resort 11 months out.

Just us - this so called "discount" garbage got old. We only examine it now to calculate DVC investment payback, based on REAL "rack rate".

DVC is not for everyone.... there is a LARGE up front cost. You really need to go at LEAST once per year. "Deals" are far better for folks that only go to WDW on rare occasions.

BUT? Still saddened that WDW can not deploy a serious business Web Site - in 2017.
