I just went there and found that my flight to MCO, which had been $450, rather than coming down, is now up to $1000 PP. What's with that? I even double-checked, thinking that I accidently clicked for first class, but no, this is for economy. Kind of makes that $430 Southwest fare, which I'd thought was too high, look pretty good now.

I noticed it, too. I'm trying to book a trip from Little Rock to Providence, RI. I'm thinking of flying one way (return trip) on SWA and another carrier going to ...to save money. However, it looks like my trip to Providence won't be with Continental. They wanted $1000 for just one-way. :scared1:

Are they serious? Rising gas prices and lowering seating capacity or not, that's just plain crazy!!:scared1:

Just did the same double take for Green Bay to MCO, $1174 a ticket. It was $320 last week and I knew I should have taken in. I will see what happens tomorrow and Wed.

We cannot change the dates now since we are cruising. All the other airlines are bad, but not that bad!

chances are since 3 more SW planes were found to have problems, and some 75 flights or more are cancelled..there are alot of poeple needing to get a flight as any price
