What's up with the Plaza Club Sandwich??

We were there yesterday and they have changed the bread! Instead of the usual yummy multi-grain bread with the sunflower seeds, it was served on plain white bread - not even sourdough! And it was a little skimpier than I'm used to, as well. No change in the awesome tomato soup, though

The last time we were there was on Labor Day weekend, have things changed that much that quickly, or was this a one-off occasion? Is free dining still going on? Could that have something to do with it? Or did bread get left off the grocery list?

If this is a permanent change, I'm going to be VERY disappointed! The difference between the multi grain and the plain white toast is huge.

PLEASE don't say that! Let's just hope they ran out of bread!?!?! My DH will have a heart attack (yes, sandwiches are THAT important to him...it's the little things!)

Did you ask them when you were there? If I had a question about the food I would have asked to talk to a manager and gotten an answer.

I agree. Also, was there any change to the description of the sandwich on the menu? Usually when they are serving a sandwich on a special bread, the bread is mentioned in the description on the menu. If it's not mentioned, it's usually nothing more than a standard bread or roll.
