There is no where (that I saw) in the MK that you can get a PIZZA!!!
And everything is WRAP this, WRAP that...chicken, veggie, turkey.....etc...

I know everyone is in the healthy eating thing...but when Im on vacation I WANT JUNK FOOD!!!!!!!!! :)

We did however find pizza in AK and MGM....but the menus are just wierd now!!!! Not like the used to be!!!

Anyone else notice this or am I just crazy????

Well, if you don't mind paying $10, Tony's Town Square does pizza at lunch time. It's the "chic" variety like you would find at the California Pizza Kitchen... pizza bianca or with carmelized onion and smoked chicken. I've had both and they are tastey enough, though I don't think they would really satisfy a craving for traditional pizza... but keep in mind I'm Jersey girl!

I think there is more than enough junk food options around.

Yea, for snacks!! They still have egg rolls, dole whips, ice cream, brownies, etc...BUT I WANT JUNK for lunch....not a dad gum VEGGIE wrap! ech!!!!!!

I miss the MICKEY pizzas!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont they have Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Planet at WDW? I went to the one at DLP. Good atmosphere but god were the pizzas crap.

Yeah, that's in MGM, I think their pizza is o.k.

I'm pretty sure there was pizza on the buffet at the Crystal Palace last time I was there.

(So what if it's on the kiddie table?) :)

There is a Mama Melrose at MGM. Is it the same as what "lauran" is referring to??
We love Mama Melrose, although we seldom get the pizza.

If you know Chuckee Cheese, it's about that quality.

When and WHY in the world did they get rid of the pizza at the Plaza Pavilion in the MK? I loved that place! I never ever realized it was gone. :confused3

the pizza that you can have delivered to your room (or campsite/cabin) isn't too bad. better than the stuff on the kiddie table at the all you can eat places and much better than pizza planet.

is there still a place at AK called Pizzafarri or something like that? never tried it.

coming from Philly with a family pizza joint on every corner serving NY style pies - nothing compaires. we have learned not to have pizzas or cheese steaks until we get back home.

If you are looking for pizza similar to your own regional pizza, forget it. The Mouse does not do pizza well. Go off-site and go to Giordano's. Your stomach and taste buds will thank you. :goodvibes

I would have to agree--pizza is pretty darn bad at WDW! I would either order in from a national chain so you know what you're getting, go off site, or abstain until you get home.

To the OP--if you must have pizza on your MK day, you could always take the monorail over to any of the resorts--they all have "pizza" at the snack bars. Or you could take the boat over to Ft. Wilderness and go to Trail's End--they serve something they describe as "pizza" on the lunch buffet.

Does anyone else miss the hot dogs wrapped in pretzel dough? Gosh those were good!

We are from North Jersey, originally, the pizza up there is far better than down here, in South Jersey. However, we have found really good places that come close. The only place to get cheesesteak is the philly area, though!

I was actually glad Disney had other choices other than "junk food". When you're eating out all your meals it's a nice break from burgers and fries to get wraps or salads. I think they've done a decent job at creating a variety for everyone except for the pizza I guess. ;)

Were going down in just a few days and I plan to try all the things I've never had before but learned about on here like Dole Whips and Sticky Mickey's and plenty of other yummy meals and treats. :teeth:

There was a pizza place in AK but I didn't see the name because we just ran inside during a horrible downpour and thunderstorm. The pizza looked ok. We had pizza delivered to the room at POR which was the same if you ordered from the food court and it was pretty good, although not great pizza, but it's pizza ya know...when it's good it's good when it's bad, it's still pretty good :)
