what's up with MK hours May 26th-31st?

I'm really worried that the crowds are going to be unbearable on Memorial Day weekend. I'll bet they're doing just that, extending the park hours.

Unless they're scaling back a bit. From accounts of visitors last week just now returning, it seems that the crowd levels were minimal in comparison to what was predicted because of the celebration kick-off. I can't imagine they're extending beyond 12 midnight.

They are tweaking the June hours also, i went to check parade times today and noticed that they have cut out the midnight hours that were listed 2 weeks ago. But I think now they have added more Spectro since it seems to be running 1-2 times every night we are there june 10-17. i think i will just quit looking and wait till I check in for the updated hours....

If you click on each individual day, it shows the hours of Spectro & Wishes being different - scaled back 1 hour - at least for May 27-29, when we're going. It still shows MK open until 12:00, though.

I noticed this as well. I hope they don't go close MK any earlier.
We will be there May 26-31.

I was so glad they extended the MK hours to midnight! Our first night we'll get in around 8 to 9 and can still get in a little park action!

ONly thing I was disappointed in was Wishes every night that weekend at 11pm! That's really pushing it for the kiddies. Mine's a night owl, but most others are not.

I also was wondering about this.................while I love late park nights, I didnt understand wishes being at 11:00, UNLESS their point is to try to KEEP people in the parks, because as you may or may not know, many people leave after the fireworks, regardless of their time.

The only thing I can tell that changed is the parade and fireworks times are different.

Where are the fireworks and parade times listed? I've written down the park hours and am still trying to determine which days to go where with DD2.5. We really wanted to take her to MK first, but that would be Memorial Day (we get in late the 29th and are there till June 4th) and it sounds as if the park will be really crowded that day. What to do, what to do?

If you go to Disneyworld.com, in the upper left corner, click on parks, then click on Magic Kingdom - Then go almost to the bottom of the page and click on Walt Disney World Resort - Magic Kingdom Park monthly hours. May's monthly calendar will come up. Click on the number on the calendar of the day you are looking for (for May 27th, click on the 27) and the time for the parades and fireworks will come up. You can switch to any park or day from there.
