Never seen them or heard of them before but while at work I noticed them.

Well not the apples per say but the absolutely crazy price. I don't recall the exact price but they were $2 and change PER apple. Yes each apple.

Let me say this are not large apples they are normal size like a granny smith or red delicious.

Never heard of it. And just stop it. Now when I go to the store I am going to look for it.

Are you marketing fruit?:rotfl:

Nope. I try and eat lots of fruit and veggies and look for odd stuff.

Today I picked up red bananas.

Looked at star fruit and thorn melons.

Awhile back tried dragon fruit.

But did you buy the Kiku apple and try it out? Your story lacks an ending you know...:joker:

Honey Crisp are worth the extra price in my opinion! They are soooo good!!

Have to check out these new apples now

They are SOOOOOO good! But then again, I've never paid that high of a price for them either! They are my 2nd favorite apple, right after the Jazz apples. Yum! I believe I have some Kikus in my kitchen right now begging to become an afternoon snack ...

Geeze, I'm still looking for the cotton candy grapes everyone was talking about last week.

I found them! LOL

I did not buy the Cotton Candy grapes but I did buy the Witches Fingers grapes. They were 9.99 for a package of the Cotton Candy or the Witches Finger's grapes.

They are sweet and interesting. I do have to say that the Witches Fingers grapes were a little "pitty" sort of?

Next I will try out the Cotton Candy grapes if they still have them.

$10 for a package of grapes:scared1:? I hope it was a Costco sized package and they're good. I haven't found the cotton candy grapes and I have 6 grocery stores in my area.

So what do the kikus taste like? I love jazz and honey crisps.

If you like jazz and honey crisps, then you should like kiku as they are very similar in taste and texture.

I just had my first kiku today. Wish I had bought more of them. OMG, that was a wonderful apple. I've always just eaten galas and an occasional Pink Lady.

No way would I pay $2 for an apple --sounds like Disney prices. ;)

LOL - me too!! :wave2: I'm a vegetarian and I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. I am ALWAYS looking for something different and darn it, a cotton candy grape sounds amazingly different.

Just bought the cotton candy grapes yesterday! Yes the bag was almost 11.00 and YES they taste just like cotton candy! Now I will be on the search for the kikus. Last year I ran across grapples - an apple that tasted like grapes. They were almost 2.00 each but they were delicious and worth it! Have not found them this year yet.
