Whats up with car rentals online!!!

OK I checked rates to rent a car this afternoon and was given a price, well I just came home to check the exact dates and the price is completely different. Why does that happen? It is so annoying that the price changed within 4 hours!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, it happens all the time. I remember looking for rental rates this past February and I had an occasion where I looked at the same rental twice within 1 hour and got two different prices! My experience has been when you find a great price, book it right away! You can usually cancel/rebook if you find an even better price later.

It's no different than the airlines. You snooze you lose. You have to be prepared to book when you see the prices you want.

I guess so. I have never rented a car before and had no idea they were like airline tickets. If I had I would have booked it. Oh well.

Don't feel bad...just keep checking the rates frequently. You might want to visit Mousavers.com and/or Rentalcodes.com to look for discount codes and coupon codes. Good luck!!

i looked at eagle car rental this morning their rates seem decent and the hotel i am staying at uses them and budget
