What's up with booking system?

Are they finally looking to make it less convoluted?

I hope they integrate all offerings on the same page, so show you all different prices for different offerings, instead of having to click on the resort, change the offering, then go back and repeating.

I doubt it. I bet they are just in the midst of "technical difficulties". It seems as though most companies planning website upgrades give you advance notice of system being unavailable. This one just popped up overnight.

um it's been a hot mess for a week at least now....this looks like a step in the wrong direction..... a hotel reservation system that can't take reservations AT ALL? really?

I know the Room Only and package discounts "expired" last night, so maybe they are taking them out of the system. These were discounts for the rest of 2017 (not the new discounts that just came out for 2018), and the last day to book them was yesterday. I am frustrated because I just want to book something!!!!!!

Last night it would let me get all the way to the last part of check out (after credit card info was in and everything), then tell me room type wasn’t available...I changed the package and still...no dice! I’m frustrated because the discount they gave me for wilderness Lodge is crap, so I was trying to book animal kingdom and then call and cancel my first reservation .

Hey, at least you get the Holiday Magic added for free! Last time the system did this, it was forcing AP holders to buy tickets to book an AP room. I hate Disney's computer system . . .

I asked why the regular price and the offer price were the same.

He responded that sometimes they are the same....

I actually saw one where the discounted price was more than the rack rate. I clicked on it just to check...and yes...it was a negative $35 savings per night.

Interesting... I've been looking for a room at Coronado Springs for a while now, but it has been completely unavailable for my dates. I just checked and it's opened up with a better discount than the Caribbean Beach destruction zone. l guess a convention block has been released with this latest update.

I wish they'd fix the thing where I click on "Change Reservation" and it just reloads the reservation page I'm already on... not helpful. So now I'm on hold...

It just adds to the general weirdness that the online booking system has always had...like how some resorts show availability for 11/12 - 11/18, but not 11/13 - 11/17.

The notice is gone from the website, so I would think everything is back and "working"

I'm trying to book a room for November 2018 and so many resorts have no availability or limited availability. Makes no sense. I know it's a busy time (Jersey week) but only a king bed available at POFQ over a year out???
