Tonight is the Annual Corn Roast, BBQ at DD11's school. After there is a dance for the kids :) That takes care of cooking tonight :thumbsup2

Tomorrow my Best Friend, who I don't see enough of, is coming up for the day, we are going Apple Picking :woohoo:for the day with the kids, and then all of us are going out the THE BEST local Italian Restaurant for Supper. :cheer2: Which takes care of cooking Saturday too !!!!

Sunday, we are going to test DH's new Camera near the runways to the airport. There is a perfect spot for this, and he is anxious to test it.

The weather is supposed to be FABULOUS, and it has already started. Off to the Corn Roast.

Wondered what you all have in store? Whatever it is, enjoy enjoy enjoy :grouphug:

Friday:

Going to a football game under the lights! (We live in a small school district and usually play our games on Saturday afternoons since we don't have lights on our field.) But, for the first home game of the season, local businesses pay to have portable lights brought in! The whole town comes to watch, and ...

My middle son will be playing on the football team and my oldest will be playing in the marching band (and has a solo).

Saturday: Book club in the evening, and glasses shopping in the afternoon.

Sunday: A soccer game for my youngest

A busy but fun, fun, fun weekend!

OOOH FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
My son played for 8 years, this is our first year without it, and we have the same type of city as you.
LOVED THOSE GAMES> ENJOY

We have company coming tonight for 2 marching band shows tomorrow (first ones of the season). Between the shows our neighbors have their annual corn and rib feed so that takes care of dinner tomorrow. Sunday is our annual church picnic so no cooking for that either .:thumbsup2

Ours usually are pretty quiet! I love those kind as well.

The first part was GREAT. Corn roast, and they had a fundraiser which was dunking teachers and principals in cold water. Whatever you call that, when they sit and you throw a ball to a target. :confused3LOL :rotfl: This year is a new principal, and the old one (one heck of a man) came for the night, and was in a shirt, tie, pants, and still got dunked. :rotfl2:, this left no choice for the new guy to do the same, as well as the gym teacher. I forgot my camera, but can't wait for the pictures to be emailed. All in all they raised 425$ doing this one event!!!

Now I can take a bath, relax, and get ready for APPLE PICKING :goodvibes

Playing tourist in DC tomorrow then hubby scored tickets from work so he (not me) is also doing Toby Keith/Trace Adkins tomorrow night and he and his brother have club seats to the Skins/Cowboys game on Sunday night. I'm almost jealous of his weekend. Lol! Truly I am excited for him. Vacation next week to Williamsburg, so I will enjoy finalizing our itinerary for that.

Awww I miss apple picking. I grew up in Michigan & that was always one of my favorite fall activities.

Sadly, no apple orchards here in TN.

Tomorrow night DH & I are going to a George Strait & Reba McEntire concert.

I'm beyond excited!

Cross Country meet from 7-3:30 tomorrow. Then a quiet evening at home with DD. It's my anniversary Sunday and since DH is deployed I don't feel much like going out anywhere. So Sunday DD and plan on going out to the stables and working on her jumping all afternoon.

mommasita, sounds like a fun weekend
everyone else sounds like they will have a great weekend as well!

My DH is out of town, so I'm it until tomorrow.
DS is at his HS football game tonight, he is going to ask his friend to Homecoming so, I'm crossing my fingers for him that she will say yes...

My DD13 was supposed to go to her next year's school HS football game tonight (different from DS, he goes to an all boys school) but she sprained her ankle last night at volleyball, doc says no go she needs to keep it elevated.
DD8 got invited to the game her sister is not going to. Haven't quite broken the news to older DD, she thinks she just went out with the family that invited her. :rolleyes1

So I'll be hangin' with DD13 keeping her company tonight!

Tomorrow, a cross country meet with DS, and then we were going to go apple picking, but with DD's injury, we are going to push it to next weekend.

Sunday is supposed to be a 12 hr. volleyball tournament, but I guess DD won't be playing in it now. Our big dilemma is do we go and have her support her team. It would be a no brainer if it were one game, but 12 hrs....

So you can see, our weekends are wrapped around kids' activities, but after this week when DH gets home tomorrow, it will definately be a few glasses of wine for me!

Hey you pretty lady:hug:

Im just hanging out this weekend. I made myself a homemade pizza tonight. Tomorrow morning I'm going with friends to ankle biter football game and then lunch out to celebrate the game.

Sunday it's supposed to rain so I'll stay home unless I want to break out the leg condom:laughing: so I don't have to get yet another cast as I'm on my second in less than 10 days:rolleyes1

Im thinking about making some apple bread this weekend and freezing some muffins so my husband has goodies when he gets home.

Magic Mom, happy anniversary. I'm sorry he isn't there for such a good number.:flower3:

Well, tomorrow I work in the morning. Then I am going to my niece's wedding. It is being held at a winery. I secretly hope they have some wine tastings!!!!

Then, time to start getting ready for bike week down at Ocean City. Clean the bike, figure out what to pack, clean the bike. Did I mention clean the bike:lmao:???

She should go to the game-but I would send her with another family if that is an option-or go for a while and come back later to pick her up if it isn't too far away. She can elevate her ankle on a chair or the bleachers and ice it all day. I would assume they will have ice available at the tournament.

Even though I have to work today, I still have a good weekend planned. Tomorrow morning, DH, DD & I are getting up early and going to the hot air balloon races event. After that we are having a birthday party for DD with all the family coming, a backyard barbeque.

DH & I are both on vacation this week and we are headed to Disneyland on Wednesday for 5 days.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.:cool1:

Everyone's plans sound like fun times! :thumbsup2

Our DD's are hosting a cookout to celebrate DH's :bday:
He's getting spoiled, as last week-end we celebrated with our out of state kiddies in N.C. :goodvibes
Fortunately we're blessed with picture perfect weather this week-end! :teeth:

Magic Mom, "Happy 20th Anniversary", thank you and your DH for your service and many sacrifices.

Have a wonderful trip to Disneyland!:yay:

Today is a lazy day as I am currently lounging on my bed next to an open window and just enjoying the breeze.

Tonight we are headed out to a Cleveland Indians Game where they are giving away Cleveland Indians snuggies. Best part is that the tickets were free from my uncle.

Tomorrow we are heading over to my Grandma's to help her clean out her closet to give stuff to charity.

Having dinner with friends here at the house. Teriyaki sirloin tips, roasted red potatoes, green salad and Margaritas!:thumbsup2
