Fort Wilderness no longer allows outside companies to deliver carts to Fort Wilderness, you can still bring your own cart, you can still use a rental company but you will need to pick up the cart and bring it onsite yourself.

is this old or what?

This seems to be old information. I rented from Kenny at Tee Time last month and we had no problems or knew of any restrictions from Diesney. I hope this is the case, if not we will be paying more $$ if we have to rent directly from Disney.

There was a company, named something like Golf Cart Enterprises, that had their name on the side of the delivery truck that was prevented from delivering. But that was a while ago and the only one affected that I heard of.

I think the key thing is keeping the off site cart rental very low key. No marked trucks and no rubbing Disney's nose in it! I have read where folks had "told" cast members about their off site cart savings. I really think that when talking to cast members if the subject of your cart comes up and it is a rental, just tell them it is your personal cart and leave it at that. If anyone asks about the deliver truck, it's you uncle dropping off your cart.

This is no big deal. I have even hear of companies that store and deliver carts to Fort Wilderness for there owners

Yea, there was one compant left i think that delivers, they were there a few wks ago when i was there! The company was like 250 bucks cheaper than Disney! The cart prices are crazy, but we didnt get one, I told hubby we will get plenty of exercise, well the walking didint bother me, it was the on and off of the buses, with 4 kids, it was just too time consuming!! :confused3
Next time, we will be renting a cart from the outside company!:O)

we rented from Walker Mobility October 2010 and delivered to the fort no issues. if it helps the van wasn't marked i don't think
