What's this? Less pyro at F! finale?

I must be out of the loop here, or completely ignorant, but I was happening to peruse F!'s wiki article, when I read that there would be less fireworks and more lights/lasers in the finale. Has anyone seen the show very recently that can confirm? I really liked all the pyro at the end. If anything, I wanted more.

Yes I had heard that as well. We saw it last year and it didn't seem to have as much at the finale then. I also heard they are redoing the film projectors to give it a better quality. Oh and they are adding another float, I think it was Flotsam and Jetsam.

Well, how about we check it out in a couple weeks? I'd like to see F!, it's one of my favorites. So we will watch it and I will report back. How's that sound?

There is pyro at the end of the show. There are also lasers. I have not noticed a change. The fireworks at the end give me a rush every time.

When did you see it last year? I think they made the changes during the closure at the end of last year (from Sept to Nov, I think?). They are doing the projectors, I think in Spring, but I hope they open back up before June.

I just REALLY liked the original pyro ending.

It doesn't seem as bad as I anticipated. I haven't seen DL F! since '06 so I can't remember all the details, but it does appear that there is less pyro at the end (not noticeably, though). I think in the original, the barges were just shooting nonstop white fireworks in the last 30 seconds, whereas this is more oriented toward the music. Still plenty of pyro though, so my fears are quelled.

Still, if anyone can report back before they close again, that would be most gracious.

Oh bummer! We're going the last week of april. Hopefully it'll be back up for our june trip!!
