What's the worst restaurant in WDW?

Not a restaurant but I thought the turkey legs in Liberty Square were the most repulsive thing I have ever eaten. And, I'm not a picky eater.

Coral Reef.

I'm from the NH/Mass. coast - literally on the water. I should know better than to go for seafood anywhere but Markey's, Brown's, Lena's or maybe Woodman's. ;)

The atmosphere at Coral Reef is probably enough to get me to go back with a few menu changes, but the fish was not good. At all. We're talking Red Lobster level food.

But again, I'll reiterate - what a beautiful room.

I guess I am just so happy to be at Disney, that I don't care what I am eating! :yay:

I can tell you that the smell of the turkey legs makes me gag though.

Rainforest Cafe

I cant remember the name...MGM way back by Honey I shrunk the kids playground. By that little bar.

It's probable to go to a restaurant once and love it :thumbsup2 or hate it:scared: . However, I don't think that this experience really qualifies us to attest to WDW's worst or even best restaurant. Your isolated experience could be due to your choosing the best or worst meal on the menu. Or it could be due to your waiter or waitress having a bad day:mad: . I'm thinking that someone who has been to many of WDW's restaurants more than once is more likely to have a balanced idea of what the restaurant's track record is. And still even then, personal taste is involved here and varies from person to person. So, while advice is helpful, I would not cancel my ADRs based soley upon one person's review:rolleyes1 .

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM-Browns. Has that place dried out yet?

We love Mexican food. Last year at Epcot, we were looking forward to the Mexican counter service food. It tasted okay. But two of us ending up with food posioning and we ate different things! We wont even go inside to the Mexican restaraunt there now.

I'm not sure why, but Mexican always seems to get blamed for these things. The truth is that you really have no idea whether or not you had food poisoning and if you did, you have no way of knowing where it came from. You could have just as easily picked up a virus from one of the 30,000 other guests at Epcot or from one of the other foods you ate that day or the day before. Different bugs have different incubation periods before you become symptomatic.

Is it possible that you got food poisoning from the Mexican place?
Sure.
Do you know that for sure?
Not unless the food that was served was tested.

First, let me say that a bad meal at Disney is better than a bad meal at home any day. I also agree with those that say that you shouldn't make all of your dining decisions based upon reviews. Everyone's tastes are so different that it is hard to know if you will like it or not based upon reviews.

Having said all of that, we really didn't like Sci-Fi. Our burgers were really bad. Thank goodness we got awesome burgers the next day at Beaches and Cream.

We were also really unimpressed with the Garden Grill. I also thought that the catfish did not taste like catfish. I can't see myself giving it another try either.

There have been others that we have been unimpressed with, but nothing that I can think of that I would consider terrible.

I couldn't say there is a bad resturante, but if i had to say, I would say CRT. I am not picky, but i didn't really see anything. I didn't like it.

ok= for me...I have to say on my last trip that Tonys was my absolute favorite place for food and service! It really was! and we ate lots of places!! I actually decided that would be a must do from now on!
now-for the bad...ABC commisary, Biergarten-bad food, even worse server, but a wonderful manager who fixed it all!!, and also 50's primetime-have given prime time two chances to live up to the hype and both times was a flop with bad service and mediocre food.

We have ADR for Tony's can you tell me
what you didn't like about?
What did you order?
thanks

I don't remember what I got, but my wife said she liked what she got. She said got spag. and meatballs.
Several people have said they didn't like Biergarten and I like it and my wife doesn't. I think a person has to try a place and make their decision on that.

For CS, the worst was the ABC Commissary. For TS, we didn't enjoy Germany very much.

The worst was San Angel (inside Mexico). We were not impressed with the food or service. The tables are also packed in too tight. While we were eating dinner, a woman at the next table got bumped by a server carrying drinks. The frozen margaritas fell off her tray and one dumped down the woman's back ... in January :sad2: The servers just gathered together, not knowing what to do except clean up the broken glass & mess on the floor and table. The poor woman just kept asking "How am I supposed to go outside? It's cold out there" After about 30 minutes, a manager showed up with a t-shirt.

While no one restaurant made me adamantly refuse to return, once was enough for Mama Melrose.
