I agree that this is all about personal opinions. Two examples are I always hear how people hate WCC and Chef Mickey's which we happen to love!!!
BUT, I will add my opinion stating that it is just that, my opinion. I had only had two very bad dining experiences in our many visits. One came many years ago at Garden Grill. The food was not awful, but not great and very cold and the service was horrible. I got back to the room and wondered why I didn't complain (I would have in any restaurant not in Disney, so why not in Disney?) So I called and left a message for the manager, by the time we touched base with each other we were home, but he offered us a free dinner when we returned. We went back 2 years later and he gave us the free dinner (which was wonderful and we would not say was on our worst list) for our whole group including my grandparents who had not been there the previous trip. (We tried to pay for them but he said NO!) Clearly we had hit them on an "off" night the first time, but it was nice that they offered to make up for it.
Our other bad meal is a place that I will not go back to, but I hear people love it. I won't go back because the food made us feel sick litterally, and have not gotten over it. It was on our last trip and we went to ABC Commisary. I also complained and though we were on the
DDP, were given the actual money back as the manager agreed the food was a problem and did not know how to add the credits back. The food was bad enough that he agreed he woudn't want to eat it; in particular, some of the family had fish and didn't notice until they started eating that some of the tartar sauce had turned. Some of the packets were while as they should be, some were grey and watery. ICK! The lomein was so hard and awful you thought you were eating raw noodles. I don't remember what everyone had, but no one enjoyed any of it.
All and All we have enjoyed our dining experiences very much at disney from the food courts at the AllStars to CRT and everyting in between. Like I said, we all have our different tasebuds, and thank goodness... Imagine how hard ADRs would be to get if we all wanted to go to the same exact places.
