For years, this has always been the week we'd go to WDW. This year, we're going away at Christmas time. We've experienced weather ranging from freezing during a tropical storm to melting in intense heat. So, what are we missing this week. :3dglasses

Just got home and to be blunt it is HOTTER THAN HADES...set a record for heat every day for a week 96,95,96 and the humidity was awful...I know August at WDW is hot but this was unbearable at times...Animal Kingdom was a sweaty knightmare they need indoor attractions there and soon. Enjoy your dec trip I think you made the right choice

It's been heavenly the last several days with the rain!!!! :):)It is supposed to warm up again starting tomorrow with less chance of rain.

Well, right now it's 75 degrees, 36% humidity, and the dew point is 46.

Oh wait, sorry that's the weather here in Wisconsin right now.

Don't be jealousy Florida.

I just got home yesterday and I would agree that last week was brutal. It got better over the weekend with the clouds and rain, but Tuesday through Saturday were beyond draining. I have been in August the previous two years and it was nothing like this. This trip has me saying never again in August or the summer. I guess I was really fortunate the past trips.

We were there last week when temps and humidity was high. Yes, its HHH (hazy hot and humid), but quite honestly, you learn to deal with it. Go inside to air conditioned attractions when its hot and humid midday, and take as many chances as you can to swim back at the resort. It's summer in Florida! Enjoy it. And be thankful you don't have to deal with it all summer long.:goodvibes

Thanks, everyone! I know I can look it up. The forcasts always say the typical August forcast, "hot w/ chance of t-storms". ;) Actually being there is always different. :)

We live right next to MK... The sun has come out this morning! 1st time in 4 days! Headed to the pool and then over to the parks!:cool1:

I'll be there the last week of October, and I expect it will still be quite hot and humid - if it's anything like 2009. I can't imagine being there right now! I am looking forward to some cooler temps in mid-December - although I could do without the January cold WDW experienced!
