What's the weather like at the end of September?

I'm from Texas, so what people from up north consider hot, I may not think it's too bad. Just wanting to get a general opinion on how hot it is. Like hot, sunny, sweaty, you're drained by the end of the day, or sunny and nice?? Thanks!

We were there from Sept 22-30, 2007.
90s each day...mid 70s in the evening.
Its Florida..so typical afternoon early shower/downpour, but generally lasts less than 1/2 hour.

I would rather go in Sept vs July or August anyday.

I live an hour and half away from WDW... end of Sept. is HOT and HUMID.

Looks like you answered your own question, except you forgot to mention it is also Hurricane season, so add wet to that.

Hi AJackson....I think hurricane season ends Nov.1.....I just returned also from WDW on Sept. 28.....weather was hot, but barible.....had to pull out ponchos twice.

From a fellow Texan!!!

We were also there 9/22-9/29 and found it more HUMID than HOT (and im from mass.!). When we got up in the mornings we'd watch the weather and it was already at 100% humidity at 7 am! Temps were high 80's to 90. A couple days the humidity let up a bit and then it felt BLAZING HOT!
And yup, most days a passing quickie shower. Our first full day it started raining in the mid-afternoon and continued on thru-out the night. It was also raining when we left and when we got there. But on the whole, it was blue skies all morning till about early-mid afternoon every day.

Just returned from WDW there from Sept 21-30. I was very concerned about it being so hot and humid. It was 90's in day and 70's at night. We were very pleased with the weather, it was hot but we never had more than a 10 min wait for anything so it really didn't bother us. Would have really bothered us if we were standing in long lines in the blazing sun. The crowds were great a very little rain. I liked the fact that we were in shorts and t-shirts everyday and night. Very easy on the packing!!

I had my parka on every day :confused3

Just kidding, but it cracks me up when I see people complaining about how it gets "cold" down there in the Winter....heck, thats beach weather here in New England!!

it was darn near 90 and humid every day we were there...I found it to be very tolerable though...and I'm not a hot weather person. Showers came through and would cool it off a bit....and we'd just limit our time outside. I personally didn't ever want to stand and watch an outdoor show or parade for any length of time...but it wasn't a huge detriment to the trip....

We loved it!! We're from Canada so we really enjoyed the heat. We were there from Sept 22 to Oct 3....most days were high 80's or low 90's, evenings went to high 70's. Most days had a little rain at some point so bring rain coats but overall, would go this time of year again!

However, be warned....we were supposed to be in DW on the 21st of September, flying from Ottawa to Atlanta to Orlando....our flight was cancelled 3 hours before it was to leave, due to a "potential" disturbance somewhere between Atlanta & Orlando!! We lost a day of our holidays as a result so it's not just about the temp but also other things as well!
