What's the story behind your tag....????

The first one was from talking like Yoda!

The second one was from talking about how my dog loves to chew up DDs Barbie legs so we have all these legless Barbie torsoes around the house.

The third one is totally true but I dont remember the thread topic when I said that!

The fourth one was from one of those Tell something random about yourself threads and all I could think of was that I had never owned a guinea pig!

:)

Well, I HAD a tag that said "Until graduation, I was called The Frequent Fainter." But when I was changing my avatar today I accidentally deleted it. I didn't know that changing by custom user title would delete my tag. :badpc:

I wasn't too crazy about the red though. Red makes me feel like I need to go to confession.

Let's see:

Speaks food in German: This was on a thread asking if DIS'ers spoke a foreign language. I lived in Germany for a year and all I can do is speak food in German. I can get you a great meal in any restaurant. :teeth:

It always gives me courage: I was mystified when I got this one then I remembered talking on the theme park boards about how reading all those threads always gave me courage to talk to DH about another trip to WDW. :teeth:

Hang around with folks who are older than you: This was on a thread posted about how to look younger. :teeth: It's my secret...DH is 11 years older than me so I always look like a whippersnapper next to him.

And then I just got another thread--apparently it was a week ago and I never noticed. :confused3 What a nerd. I'm more of a smell person was in reply to one of Mal's threads asking if music reminds you of WDW. Smells remind me of places more than sounds. I'm just glad it doesn't say I'm more of a smellY person! :rotfl:

The first one I put there myself. TF just colored it.

Second one was from a thread about what we were like in high school.

Third one was during a TF frenzy one night when several people got tagged from the same thread (I think it was about movies). I posted saying that I knew where the TF was hanging out.

Fourth one was from a thread with an online quiz called "How Weird Are you?"

My first tag was when I was asking what I could do to get a tag. I said I'd bribe the TF, but I didn't know with what. Now I know, chocolate always works!

The second was from a thread about awful clothes we wore in childhood. My mom sewed me a polyester doubleknit mustard yellow PLAID leisure suit, and I really did look like a little senior citizen in the 2nd grade!

The third was from a thread about our favorite cartoons. I LOVE Fairly Oddparents, and my fave episode was the one where Timmy and Cosmo&Wanda change places. The cow saying "Oh, darn it!!" just cracks me up- it's one of our family phrases in our house.

I got my first tag because I can't make pancakes. It's very simple, and yes, very sad. :teeth:

My second was from a thread I started about snooping for Chrismas presents. I like it!

My second tag came from the time I rode Kali Rapids, when I got off I was soaked to my underwear. My shorts were a light color and you could see my bright pink underwear through them  . I had to wear my poncho in 90+ degrees. It was a FUN time for all!
I can't remember why I got the first one, it was a reaponse on another thread about the tag fairy.

From a post about wedding songs. I said when it comes on the radio we will still dance in the kitchen.

From posting on peoples trip reports

From a post about someone getting a new puppy

My first one is about my hometown of Roswell, N.M., and references the alien UFO crash of 1947. It wasn't until I got into high school that I started to hear things about it. Then it seemed like over night things kind of exploded and everyone seemed to know about Roswell and the UFO crash. Well, last fall I was in a community theater show and had to write up a bio. Well, as a joke I used, "Was born on a small planet..." as an openning to my bio. So, I decided to use it here.

Second one comes from the "Men check in here thread." I said I was a man the last time I check...and well, there you go.

ETA: I should add that re: my first tag - I wrote that in and the Tag Fairy colored it for me.

My Brother lives in New Mexico. That is very cool that the Tag Fairy Colored in your Quote.

I used to have Living Green with Shades of Gray under my user name I wished that was colored in. Now I'm afraid of loosing my Tags if I go near that place.

So, if chocolate works...would it do me any good to tell the Tag Fairy that I will whip her/him up a fresh batch of my super double chocolate brownies? They even have chocolate chips stirred in to make them even more chocolatey. Is chocolatey a word??? It's a word in my world! Anyway, I'm willing to try anything!

I don't iron. If it isn't wash & wear, I don't buy it.
I seriously have not touched my iron in over a decade. It cracks me up to read people asking, "Is there an iron in the rooms at Pop Century?" on the resort board. Believe me, ironing is the last thing I would think of doing at WDW. :lmao:

I like buying cheap candy corn. :goodvibes This comes from a thread about Target and I wrote about how much I like the clearance stuff and that you can buy candy corn 90% off. Target has all kinds of good items on clearance, and you can't go wrong with candy corn that is almost FREE.

But, there's more to me than wrinkled clothes and candy corn. I'm hoping for a new tag someday! :goodvibes

I have NO tag! :sad1:

I'll do ANYTHING for a TAG!! :rolleyes1 Just dont tell my DH or kids. :rotfl2:

I was whining about having been around here for so long and never getting a tag :sad2: So I guess the Tag Fairy wanted to shut me up :rolleyes1

My first one is something I said--sad but true. :lmao:

My second one was when I was making fun of someone for liking the My Clean Magic Eraser.

The third one is one of my homemade tags--one of my favorite sayings. Another one that I had on there that the Tag Fairy took away is "Laugh Every Day, Even if it is at Yourself", another favorite saying. :rotfl:

The last one was a stupid story I told about myself and my new van. The steering wheel has controls on it to raise and lower the volume of the radio and operate the cruise control. There are lines and bumps on those controls and one day when I was driving I thought that they were braille. :rotfl2: Um, I don't think that blind people tend to drive... :lmao:

I just love these!!! Thanks!

For the first year after we joined, I used to see tags and wonder "WTH does THAT mean?" When I discovered what the TF was, I realized that there was someone out there with a tremendous (and wonderful) sense of weird.

And I was so excited about my tag, I spent at least 25 minutes explaining the DIS and tags and what they were and how they happened and then the thread I posted on (and a few moments to wax poetic about Supertarget again) to a few coworkers, just so they would know how cool this was.

That's really kind of sad, isn't it....

Sorry, I am tagless. I'm way too boring for the Tag Fairy.
There's no hope for me if jimmalru80 has all those posts and no tag :confused3 Say something funny jimmalru80 and maybe you'll get noticed. I feel for you even though I don't know anything about you.
Maybe the two of us could start a thread but we'd probably get shut down for being too boring. At least we'd get two posts though....
I love flap happy hats for babies and posted about them once but it was too boring of a thread......

1- It's a play on words referring to my OCD tendencies

2- I once admitted that I had taken an online quiz while in my nightgown. I play online in my nightgown all the time actually.

3- In the thread about what you're the biggest fan of I claimed Nutella.
Jar of Nutella + spoon = :cloud9:

The first one was from a stop smoking thread. It refers to how my DW inspired me to quit.

The second came from a trip to the foot Dr. for an in-grown toenail. She had trouble getting the needle in to numb me up. Then she could't seem to get the toenail out. She told me I had evil toes.

The third came from a laundry thread. I would think that one pretty plain.
