Whats the Rarest Character youve met ????

We have a family picture with Mickey and Minnie in their red rain ponchos in the Magic Kingdom in Liberty Square from one day when it was raining in Feb 2002. We are wearing our official yellow DisneyWorld ponchos.

The rarest we've seen have been Launchpad (AK entrance), the Three Pigs (near castle forecourt stage), and Walrus (on Tomorrowland trail during MNSSHP)

I dunno if it's rare but I met Dweedle Dee (or Dweele Dum) not sure which... ha!

Also, the queen from Alice although I think she's more popular now.

The problem is, if you met them, you don't know if they're rare or not until you ask others

I would have to say Roger Rabbit at the Magic Kingdom and All of the Muppets Characters including Miss Piggy, Kermit, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, the rabbit (I can't remember his name) and all of the Muppets Band. I saw them at MGM in 1993. They did a little skit/stage show in the area that is now Al's Toy Barn where you meet the Toys Story characters. I stood in line and had my picture taken with Gonzo but didn't wait for all of the others, :sad1: now I wish I had. I have always loved  the muppets, if I had known then that I would never get to see them again I would of stood in the lines.

Wow! It sure doesn't seem like that was 14 years ago, but looking at the clothes I was wearing you sure can tell.:rotfl2:

I'm not sure if these are rare but they seemed rare to me.

the Muppets Characters including Miss Piggy, Kermit, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, the rabbit (I can't remember his name)

bean bunny

man fozzie looks off though.. very trippy.

kermit and piggy were doing meet & greets on a regular basis until mid 2005. sadness.

I'd say the rarest for us was Clopin, Shan-Yu, and Mickey, Donald and Goofy in 3 Musketeer gear.

together at MK on our Sept. 2006 trip. We have been 7 times before this trip and never saw them. I was very surprised. I have always said I had the Peter Pan complex, because I never want to grow up. He is my Hero. He wanted to know why I didn't have an outfit like his if I liked him so much. I did have on a Tink shirt that day though :goodvibes so he wasn't too upset.

Here are some of the rarer characters that I've met.

Does Big Al count? We saw him at MVMCP in December and I got my picture with him - one of my all-time favorite country bears. From earlier trips, we also have pictures of my daughter with Roger Rabbit (1992 at Disneyland), and one with my daughter with the red monkeys from Toy Story (Barrel full of monkeys) from December 1996. Someday I will figure out how to post pictures. :)

Probably all seven dwarfs together at MNSSHP last year. My sister and I got our picture taken with them, and by cropping the picture, she got one of herself with Dopey, and I got one of myself with Grumpy.

Hearing all these stories and seeing all the photos really makes me wish Disney would get some of these characters back out!! How awesome would that be for us character lovers?? I think it would be so awesome.

I am not sure what the rarest character is that I have meant, I know last summer I did find Kermit, I did get Captain Jack at the Pirate and Princess Party. I have meant so many characters, and it is really great that Disney does get them out, I just wish they would bring out some of the older ones again, that would make my heart smile!!!:goodvibes

I've met Meg and Hercules and Governor Radcliffe - I think that's about as rare as I get. :) I would love it for my sister to see Kronk and my dad to see Gaston - they would freak out! At least I know that now they're occassionally in the parks. :)

On normal park days I've met; Brer Fox, (I'm not sure how rare he is though,) Clarabelle Cow, Cruella, Hercules, Horace Horsecollar, and Little John.

At Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties I've met; Abu, the seven dwarfs - all together with Snow White, Frollo, Belle's Prince, (does he have a name?) Jafar, Jane, Maleficent, and the Queen from Snow White.

At Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties I've met; Abu again, Bert, Phillip, (though I don't think he's that rare anymore,) Snow White's prince, and Scrooge.

And at the one Pirate and Princess Party I attended I met; Eric, Jack Sparrow, John Smith, Phillip again, and Snow White's prince again.

If you like meeting rare characters, the special event parties are your best bet.

There was quite a mix on the train when we opened the park back in 03. I think it's fun though when you get the right ones together and they start to play together.

Hook and Pan are a riot to watch.

The rarest ones I've met are Vinny from Atlantis, Clopin, and Maleficent. Is Chewbacca rare? If so, add him in there. :goodvibes
