What's the quickest form of transportation from MK to MGM to Epcot?

We only have one day to enjoy the parks (Dec. 21), so we're trying to figure out the most efficient way to get to a few key attractions. Most of the day will be spent in MK, then a quick stop in MGM to see the Osborne Lights at 6:00, followed by Epcot/Illuminations. What would be the quickest way to get from park to park--boats, buses, our rental car? We'll have a stroller, DS and DDs in tow--ages 11, 5, and 2 1/2. If our car isn't the quickest option, we're thinking of parking it near the Int'l Gateway in the A.M. and taking WDW transportation to MK, MGM and WS. Then after Illuminations, we could exit out the Int'l Gateway to our car to avoid the massive crowds. Any words of wisdom out there would be greatly appreciated!

Well to get from MK to EP use the monorail. At EP catch a boat in the lake near the counrties and that way you can get to MGM. When taking the monrail from MK to EP you have to get off at the Transportaion and Ticket Center and hop onto another monorail. That id the best way i can think of. Have fun on your trip Danacath take lots of pictures and send them to me. LOL

Thanks for the reply, Steve. I'm mainly wondering how to get from MK to MGM in the quickest way possible. We've never done MGM yet, so I'm not familiar with the best way to come and go from that park in particular. If I'm going from MK to MGM, do I have to go by way of Epcot (like you mentioned) or is there an easier way?

10 days and counting!

I believe the Contemporary bus stops at the TTC on the way to MGM. I used my rental car last week and drove to the MK parking lot, caught the monorail to/from MK, then moved the car to MGM in the afternoon. It really didn't take that much time, I would think less time than taking a bus.

There isn't a parking lot at the International Gateway, you would have to park at one of the Epcot Resort hotels and walk or take the boat. They have signs outside saying they do not provide parking for theme parks. I stayed at BW last week and the parking lot was a pain, always had to drive around and hunt for a space. Sometimes I just valeted instead.

Deb has a good idea, I would do that. Sorry i got the order wrong.

Oh go on the Rockin Roller Coaster i love Aerosmith and i suggest that ride 10 times over again!

Use your car! Three kids, strollers, busses that run all which way, sometimes overcrowded and having to stand? Use the car! One parking pass is good all day, so you don't have to pay a parking fee at each park! Also, if you enter the parks in the later afternoon or early evening, you can usually drive fairly close to the front of the park and not have to take the tram- at least at Epcot!

Yeah the car is also a good idea. Sorry i cant be too much help i always use the Disney Transportation.
