We had this same discussion (about odd names, I mean) in my child psychology class in college back in 1986. One of my classmates knew someone who knew the jello twins too...and I am sure she believed it was true as well. But I think it isn't...
I went to school with a Robin Byrd. I never even got it, as I'd known her all my life, until I introduced her to someone new and after she left they said, "Robin BYRD?"
I bought my first car from a Jack Frost. I'd been shopping around for awhile and when I went back to buy, they had to page him. I about laughed out loud when, "Jack Frost to the showroom!" came over the PA.
I wisely kept my wisecracks to myself, I figured he'd heard them all already anyway. The absolute worst was a case of bad initials. The kid's name was Seth Boyd. Middle initial "O." I hope he never wants anything monogrammed!
