I can't remember the name of it - but it'll be the only one available at the video store. I guess it's time to rent the first movie and finally see it since the second one is out in the theaters. When we went to Disney's California Adventure last January and went to Who Wants to be a Millionaire, older DS got to be in the hot-seat and had to use the audience to answer a question about Harry Potter. I guess my kids are too old to have been caught up in all the hysteria, so the books weren't something that I went out of my way to read!
Am I the only one who hasn't read the books or seen the movie?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

My DD is 20 and loves them!! She went 5 times last year to the theater to see the first.

That was the first time I was caught up in it. Loved the movie!! Went home and read all 4 books fairly quickly. Wonderful!!
The new movie is also a very good one.

You can never be too old for Harry Potter. :)

I'm 21 and love the books and the movies. Saw both #1, and #2 (yesterday) on their opening days.

You pose an interesting question about the title of book/movie #1 actually since it was originally called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, but chanbed to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the USA. I'm from Canada and I'm pretty sure my video copy of #1 is entitled Philosopher's Stone since we got the English version.

:)

I read the books and loved them first. I saw the first movie and I liked it a lot but I thought it was slow in the beginning. I'm really looking forward to seeing the second film.

I haven't read the books and only saw the movie when it came on PPV. I enjoyed it and am interested in seeing #2, although I won't go out of my way to do it. If I see it in the theater...ok, if not, it will be on PPV in a few months probably.
