Whats the most valuable thing

The most valuable thing I won was a $250 Visa gift card from a newspaper sweepstakes.

a $500 gift card from KMart...I'm still not sure how that happened, something to do with American Express

I won a family heirloom in a "name picked from the hat" process with my five siblings. The object is extremely valuable, but its sentimental value is beyond priceless and it will never, ever be sold, so its value is simultaneously moot.

Aside from that, I played the lottery one time when the pot was whatever massive amount it was at the time ($600 million or something obscene) but I didn't win so I cut my losses and haven't played again. I've never done any other gambling (no moral objections, I just don't get the thrill and am too cheap to enjoy it) so no real chance of any "big wins," either.

$100 twice - once from lottery, and once in a company safety drawing.

My wife gets all kinds of free stuff. We're going to the new Fast N Furious movie for free on Tuesday. 4th time in a year for free movie tickets. Her top score was a 2007 Jeep.

I won $160 from a $7 bet in a slot machine in Vegas (Harrah's!), but I also won the largest GB iPod Nano in 2008 in a raffle at a TJ Maxx that I didn't even want to enter! Not sure which is the most "valuable."

Back when I was a single mother raising 4 kids with no child support, I had $40 left to my name after paying the bills to last 2 weeks to buy food and gas. I entered a radio contest one morning where they asked trivia questions. I knew the answers to all the questions and I won $200. I was able to stock up on groceries to last most of the month.

OMG no I thought of something better. Once when my oldest son was like 3 he loved Scooby Doo and we went to Darien Lake (now a six flags). I played a game as soon as we got there and I never win anything. What happens I win a huge stuffed scooby doo.

I won a 7-night stay in a condo in Hawaii thanks to the Budget Board here (it was an online contest and we were all helping out each other. Quite a few of us won various hotel stays at that time. GO Flexicans!!!)

I won a weekend in Laughlin, NV at a fundraising event for the Kiwanas (is that how they spell that?)

I've won at a few slot machines, but never enough to have to fill out a W-G, although my husband has twice.

I do now enter contests for fun online, but I have yet to win anything. My friend wins all of the time.

$5,000.00- My sister and I bought a shared ticket for $100.00 ( grand prize 10 grand) that benefitted our local women's shelter. It's an annual event and we won the very 1st year. Only 300 tickets are sold and we still never expected to win:)

I won a one of a kind doll made by a well known doll artist. Value +/- $5,000

Won employee of the quarter. Choice of $500 or an iPad. Took the money.

I won $150 at a slot machine in Vegas....

but my grandfather-in-law is, by far, the luckiest man I know. He wins a good amount of money on scratch off lottery tickets probably once a week! His biggest haul to date has been $300,000. It's really stunning how often he wins. He's 85 and in failing health and the nicest man you'll ever meet, so more power to him!! :)

$150 gift certificate to the Capital Grille through a "special holiday shopping event" drawing at a local pharmacy--great dinner!

I won my husband's heart!!!

Ok that was corny, but true. After an abusive and tumultuous 1st marriage, I met my best friend and soul mate and know how very lucky I am!!!

Not saying I don't play the lottery every now and then when, as someone else said, it's an "obscene amount" but, I am content to know I will never win anything as valuable as what I am now surrounded with!!!

Oh, but last year I did win tickets to the FREE Kenny Chesney concert he gave on the beach (a one of a kind performance);)

Aw. Bankgirl05 beat me to my answer!

Other than that, I once won a gas grill and once won this really nice. . .well. It's at the height of a sofa table but wider and has all these baskets that hang like drawers in it. I won that and a really nice braided area rug in a company raffle.

DH won really good tickets to see ZZTop once by knowing some obscure fact about the space race. We thoroughly enjoyed that one.

Oh, and back when I was in college, the coke company was always running bottle cap specials in the summers, where one in three or one in five cokes had a bottle cap redeemable for a free coke. It was a running joke that I bought like 2 cokes each summer and the rest were free from bottle caps. Why I didn't go to Vegas those summers, I'll never know. . .
