WhatS the most shocking thing you've seen at DL?

This should go on the community board, as it really has nothing to do with planning.

The most shocking thing I saw was a lady just off splash mountain strip down to her bra and panties and change right in the middle of the path! A cm came and tried to shield her a bit and hustle her to a corner but there were a lot of states!!

Yay! You're awesome.

I realized I didn't answer it. I've had two 'shocking' scenes at Disneyland. First was a woman walking through The Grand to go to PPH, totally cursing at her husband and calling him horrible names. All while walking with their kids. She did not stop even when my dad told her we don't curse in front of children like that. It was disgusting. Later, I saw that man hiding in the back corner of the Business Center in PPH and then I saw her in the hallway searching for him. It was classic, in a horrifying sort of way. May I NEVER be that woman!

The second thing I saw was a man spank a child in front of Walt and Mickey's statue. And not just a swat, this man hit this child so hard that the child went flying forward and fell down. He then acted like it was an accident when he realized what he had done and how many people were watching. I have always worried that poor kid really got it when they got home. Who takes a kid to Disneyland to abuse them?

The most shocking/funny thing Ive seen at DL was when everyone was heading out the front gates, just as we went under the tunnel there was a man and woman fighting and all of a sudden the man yells out, "Happiest place on earth MY ***!" funniest thing Ive heard from a fighting couple while in DL.

I'm finding most of these just sad!!!

I guess I've never seen anything "shocking" at DL.

I was waiting in line for TSMM and we were standing where you pick up your glasses. Suddenly this little boy ducks under the railing to grab glasses (in the middle of our group), then waves his entire family over to join him, which they did. It pretty much put me in a bad mood all day to see that kind of behavior... usually I find people are pretty well-behaved at Disney parks.

Tall, leggy, bottle blonde in Toontown. She was pushing a stroller in 6" heels. No joke. My thought was, did she actually WALK all the way to Toontown in those heels? I hope she took the train.

My 3 year old son peeing off Paradise Pier :(

OMG!!!!! Please tell me you got video to use as leverage on him later in life!!!!

I wish I had video!! Never have I been so mortified!!! I was looking directly at him and he was watching the baby ducks in the water and there was 2 tables in between us. It took me about 15 seconds to realize what he was doing!!! The clean up lady was impressed by his aim for making it all into the water. He will NEVER live it down. It will be the story we tell to all his girlfriends!!!

Well if he has girlfriends like my girls you will tell that story and they will think he is that much cooler. ;)

Most shocking thing I've seen at DL was a woman jog-walking through Fantasyland with her shirt completely unbuttoned, no bra, a toddler nursing on one breast, the other breast flopping in the sun. I was in line for Peter Pan and could not believe that not one CM was going after her to ask her to button her shirt and to escort her to the baby center. Who wouldn't rather nurse a child in a quiet, air conditioned room as opposed to flashing everyone in FL??? I was soooo glad that DH was making sure the boys were facing the opposite direction while she went by.

It would have been illegal for a CM to say anything to her, even with one **** hanging out. Breastfeeding is a protected act. I'm sure Disney is well aware and not interested in the law suits that would follow. Oh, and to answer your question about the baby center and who wouldn't rather breastfeed in there; well, her for one. Also, aren't there toilets in there? I don't eat near toilets and I don't breastfeed in bathrooms, its unsanitary unless there are floor to ceiling doors or lids that close on the toilets. I haven't been to DL when my kids were at that stage so I've never been in the baby center to know the set up.

I'd be shocked too if I saw a woman breadtfeeding while walking! But more because it takes tremendous talent to do that, I've tried and there's no way! Could she have been more discrete with her second ****? Maybe, but breast feeding moms are not to be messed with! How they do it is their business.

As for the childcare center, I'd much rather breast feed on a bench while I people watched than being inside.

However, as the OP lets not get into a breast feeding in public debate and keep on with the stories!

Totally agreed. And lots of folks prefer rest areas and such, its a personal choice. I would NEVER be comfortable with a breast showing and I don't have the coordination to try while walking. I only meant to say why the CM didn't say anything, such a touchy thing for them.
