My DH and I are trying to book for late Sept at WL. We're taking our 4 1/2 year old and our 2 year old. We've never done concierge anywhere, but we love WL and thought maybe we should try it.
Is it worth the extra $$$???
What is the best rate I can hope to get as a FL resident???
Should I wait till the kids are older to do concierge???

Please help me make up my mind. My DH will do whatever you experts say!
Thanks,
Chris

I believe $360 is the lowest I have gotten with the exception of already having a room in Concierge and adding another. The concierge did an "upsell" on a standard room and it was even less.

We just got back on 7/2/2005. We were there for 8 days. Our FL resident rate was $295.00. Last year I believe our rate was $285.00. I have two DD's 7 and 12. We love concierge at Wilderness Lodge. The lounge should hopefully be finished by now. The WL staff was very helpful with our planning. I believe it is worth the extra money but that is just my opinion. Actually I think with younger children concierge would be great. It makes things easier for you. The extra service is really nice. :flower:

I stand corrected... I went back and looked at my CC bill and 285 was the rate, $360 is the value rack rate.

In August'03 I booked Standard room at Wilderness Lodge at $114(FL rate) and was asked if I wanted to be upgraded to concierge for $70 more per night. Got Poly GVC at $285 a night last Sept. We liked Poly better. They just seem to offer more and the lounge is very nice as is Chef Dick.
