What's the longest you have gone between visits home?

We are getting withdrawal symptoms (though it is for a good reason).

It has been nearly 2 years since we went "home" and we won't be able to be there until April or May of next year because we are expecting our 2nd daughter to arrive in November.

We both are getting Disney fever and we realized that this will be the longest time between trips to WDW since we had our honeymoon there 10 years ago.

So it got me wondering... what is the longest time between trips to WDW for you since you joined DVC?

13 months. It's 10 months this time and that is getting long. It's not like we didn't go on a vacation this summer, but we didn't go to Disney.

As you can see by my signature, we were last at WDW in Oct 2001. Since Frances has cancelled this weekend's trip we're now on the waitlist for Oct. That would make 3 years between trips.

If the waitlist doesn't come through, we won't have another chance to return to WDW until 2006...that would make 5 YEARS between visits! I'll probably go out of my mind. Send pd for the wait, please.

We are getting bad withdrawal syptoms as of late, we were at OKW in March and will not be returning till the end of November!! This is really bad, when you have to have "a FIX" every couple of months!! Before we retired, we would go once or twice a year, it didn't bother us that much, I guess work kept our minds off the subject! But since retirement the withdrawal had gotten worse!! Do they have any pills that can help with these syptoms?

Since becoming members...16 months...between our Jan 2000 and May 2001 trips. 2000 was a busy year for us, and we didn't have any summer vacation at all. After that year, we've averaged 2 trip's per year.

It's usually about a year. This time (due to our youngest daughter being born) it has been almost 2 years since we've been there. With the points we recently added on, we should be able to take a trip at least once a year, even if it's just a few days to get over the withdrawl!

Generally between 9 and 12 months is the longest we now go. I miss it way too much when we're gone too long.
