What's the likelihood of an upgrade at POFQ?

We booked standard there with an AP for our upcoming trip July 21-24. Would like to be close to the pool, would that be concidered preferred? WE have two kids that would love to swim at least on arrival day. Has anyone been upgraded theer recently?

Haven't had an upgrade there, but I have stayed there, and I would say that POFQ is a pretty compact place, I don't think there are many rooms that are too far from the pool....I wouldn't worry about it. POFQ is pretty quaint.

When I stayed, I requested a room close to the parking lot (my aunt has trouble walking, so I needed a room close to the car, and we weren't to far from anything on the resort.

This resort is very small - no matter what building you end up in, you'll be fairly close to the pool and main building/food court.

We had a standard room last July Bldg. 3 room 3333. It was right on the corner by the back side of the main building (by the gift shop outside door). It was a minute walk to the food court and about two minutes to the pool or bus stop. It was also very quiet.

I have stayed in Bldg. 7 twice now. It is probably the farthest building from the pool, and is still a two or three minute walk. Don't worry about it! You will love POFQ!
