Whats the FIRST thing your going to do once you get to WDW?

First thing I will do is head to my hotel (SSR) and see if I can check in. Then if the weather is nice I may head over to Typhoon Lagoon. I've never been there, and I'd like to check out the new waterslide!

I'm going to POFQ to drop off my stuff (and check in if the room is ready) then I'm going to take the boat over to DTD for lunch at Earl of Sandwich and some shopping. I'll pick up my new Pal Mickey while I'm there, and maybe a guest of honor badge too!

Sleep! Our flight arrive in Orlando at 11:54 pm... by the time we get to our hotel and check-in I'll probably pass out!

We'll check in at Pop, maybe get into our room, and then head over to MK for the afternoon....can't wait to stroll down Main St. and then ride Splash Mtn!!!!! 8 days to go....OH BOY!

We will be heading to Ohana for dinner after unpacking and then off to bed for an early start the next morning. :wizard:

My DH and I are going in December and this is his first time flying. He is convinced he will be so sick, sitting in the lobby waiting for our room to be ready. :rotfl: I have this horrible vision of him sitting in WL, whining and vomitting! :rotfl2: So, if you are arriving on Dec 2nd at WL and see a miserable man lounging in the lobby...that's my DH!!!!

We're arriving afternoon of June 27th at the BWI and plan to just relax and play at the pool. :cool1: It's vacation time and I'm gonna reeeeelaaaax (atleast for this one afternoon) :rolleyes1

It depends. We'll be on our honeymoon and will have just gotten married the day before, so we could still be tired from the reception the previous night and then traveling all that day. We'll get to GF around 6, so I think we will do one of two things.

Check in and head to Epcot for dinner and Illuminations if we aren't too tired.

Or...

Eat at the GF and just explore the resort, maybe hang out by the pool and have an early night.

The next day we'll spend the full day at MK! :)

After the basics (checking into the hotel, etc), we will be heading straight to the MK to walk down Main Street. A trip to Disney does not start for me until I get on Main Street.

Wait a second, Chicago....you're going to be on your HONEYMOON...are you sure there isn't a third possible entry for what you'll probably do as soon as you arrive at GF??? hee hee :rotfl:

Usually we check out or hotel or head to DTD as to not waste a ticket day. We usually arrive in the afternoon.

But this year we have AP's so I am not sure because it won't be like wasting a day :)

We will arrive aound 3pm after our 6-7 hour car ride. DH and I will be checking in at YC for the first time ever! I'm sure once we get to the room, we will crack open the wine and have a glass (it is our first anniversary after all) ;) Then we will probably go explore our new digs, check out SAB and generally walk around the grounds with dreamy heads and goofy smiles just like anytime we first arrive at WDW! After that I'm sure we will make our way to EPCOT and then MK for EMHs...only one week to go!

Chicago526 - Congrats on your upcoming wedding and honeymoon at the World! How is Elgin anyway? I grew up in the Dundee/C'Ville area and my sister and her family now live in Elgin as well! Hope your enjoying spring weather! :wave2:

After that 10 hour drive, we'll check in at the AKL and then its off to Chef Mickey's for my birthday dinner! Woo Hoo!! :cool1:

Check in and then head over to MK and ride IASW with my miracle baby who they told me wouldn't survive. And CRY tears of joy :) :)

Our flight gets in at 11:30 am, so we'll have the whole afternoon. We never go to the parks on the first day, because the first day is usually for just relaxing and taking it easy. We're staying at OKW for the first time, so we'll probably check out the resort a bit until check-in time. We're also going over to SSR since we just spent a whole lot of money on that resort by joining DVC, so we just have to check it out. And then we'll probably go down to DTD for some shopping.

Our flight arrives at 10:45 am, so we'll check in at Pop Century, have lunch, then head for the Magic Kingdom ASAP. Like some others here, the WDW vacation hasn't begun until you see the castle. :)

We'll either check into our room (if it's ready) drop off our carry on bag and head to Epcot...

Or, we'll take a swim and lounge around the hotel for a couple hours...it depends on how tired we are.

We'll be checking in at POFQ early in the morning, we'll dump the bags then go get on the first bus that pulls up to the bus stop! I can't wait for that Disney magic to start!
