What's the first thing you do when you arrive in Orlando/Disney?


We usually head for the nearest watering hole to have a stiff drink and relax.

popeyes chicken and mnt dew!!!!!

got addicted to popeyes first time i was out there in '98, so i always head for one and always find a store to buy 6 24oz bottles of mnt dew because i also love that stuff.

either that or find somewhere that does a good steak and has a nice relaxing atmos so i can egain the feeling of being on land and filling my stomach back up after airline food.

Its terrible I know but one of the first things DH will be doing is finding somewhere to have a smoke, followed by a wee (I think thats so funny - wharped sense of humor, I know)

yes definately a wee - then its a stop at Walmart for supplies en route to the villa - root beer for DD14 and a Walmart fix for me!

First thing afterwards? Find an American to speak to - that (and the heat!) just confirms I'm back in the country I love!

The only problem being the first person I have encountered after stepping off the plane twice has been one of those erm "jolly chaps" at sanford airport immigration! Er, a definate warm, well warm ish well freezing in fact american reception!- Dont get me wrong once your past happiness central that is immigration everyones wonderful with the usual "have a nice day!"

First thing we do on arrival at hotel- tear open the cases, find swimming stuff and race to the pool!

First thing we do on first full day - Walmart of course! usually at 5.30 am!!
