whats the earliest the food and wine fest. will start?

Looking to plan a short trip next Sept for my DBF's birthday, but I really want to go to the Food and Wine festival (I know he'll love it). Whats the earliest that it began. He missed it this yr by 10 days.

It usually starts the first weekend of October. Should be Sept 29 of next year, but don't hold be to that.
