Saw an ad for Brita to go bottle with filter. Would that be a good thing to have in WDW? I had planned to refill water bottle daily.

Yes, that would absolutely be a good thing to have in WDW! Most people find the sulphur taste in the local water to be strong - the Brita bottle (I have one) filters it out very well.

I would say get it...the water down there is not that great, though I didn't think it's as bad as other people did...I guess it depends on what you're used to.

I'm not a big fan of water by any means. As of the last two years I have started drinking Propel by Gatorade. I would recommend bringing your own water bottle. At least you can select the brand you prefer.

In a word..BAD...when you freeze it there is a ton of sediment that forms and then melts and sits on the bottom of the glass. I would take a sip if desperate but that is it.

Did you know that you can ask for glass of ice water which is filtered from any CS restaurant?. I did that many times when my water bottles were warm.

It is free and ice cold, cs water.

Definately bring a bottle or a filter.

I tried this last October and it worked like a charm! I hate lugging a water bottle around; either you need a backpack to carry it, or you need a water-bottle-holder (which bangs against your leg).

So last October I just asked for a cup of ice water at CS restaurants. Even if you aren't ordering food, they'll give you a cup of water. Just go up to where you pick up the food (so you don't have to wait in line with those who are ordering).

Thanks for posting about the water as I will have to remember to ask for my water at cs as I was wondering what the water was like. I know some people have packed water bottles in there luggage and brought them from home. I just don't know if this is something I would want to do though

Staples offers free shipping when you sign up for their frequest buyer's club...so you could buy online and have it shipped directly to your resort (if you wanted to go with bringing your own water.)

I've had the icewater from the tableservice restaurants before...that was not filtered water! It tasted just like from the water fountains only colder.

Does someone have to be there to check in your water if you order from Staples?

We took along those individual packets of koolaide because we had heard the water tasted bad. Never used them. We thought the water was fine.

We stopped at a counter service each morning to get a tall cup of ice water to fill our son's sippy cup with.

At CBR, we used a snack credit to get the large bottle of water in the gift shop. We kept it in our frig.

Cool and thanks for posting what you thought of the water. I was also thinking about bringing the koolaide singles or even the crystal lite single packets. But I will also be sure to ask CS for water if we need it. Do any of you know if the resorts have filtered water that you can get when getting drinks at the fountain drink area in the restuarant area. We are staying at POP Century as was wondering if they may have water you can get where you get the fountain drinks that maybe filtered

The water at CBR food court tasted just fine. They have small ice water cups at the registers. The water is at the soft drink stations. I just let some water run out first in case there was still some soda in the spikot.

We did have a little misunderstanding at the counter service in Morocco. I asked for ice water. The lady gave us luke warm water with about 2 small cubes in it. I like a lot of ice. I think the heat index was about 98 degrees.

Thanks for this info as I was thinking that there maybe water at the soft drink station as I will tryand get it from there as I figure that that shouldbe for free and we intend to buy a couple of the refillable mugs so we should be able to get the water for nothing with those anyways.
