is it 15 or 20% at the restaurants if paying cash and showing your DVC card?

trying to figure out if DDp is such a deal after what they've removed.

thanks

It varies... Sometimes 10% infrequently 20%. There are very few participating restaurants so you would be even more restricted than on the dining plan.

It is DDE that is mostly 20%, but you must also have an annual pass AND buy the DDE card.

The DDP is not a good deal compared to what it was, but if you 'work it' (most expensive TS restaurants, etc.) you can save. It depends if you want to work at making it a value, or if you really want to eat like that to begin with. If you're not a dessert person, and would buy an appie (and pay cash for that), or would be going mostly to QS restaurants, I don't see how it could be a good deal.

However, the Deluxe plan can be a very good deal (even though it's expensive) if you can eat that much and do expensive table service meals every day. I could do that for a very short while but would be burnt-out a few days in!

This is from the Members Site, and more often it's only 10% and even just during certain times.

Keep in mind the above list is ONLY the resort hotels. There are discounts at other restaurants, including some at the Parks.

If I recall correctly, I think Fulton's even has a 30% discount for lunch. I know Tony's (MK) has a discount but don't recall if it's 10% or 20%.

We just ate at Fultons. They have reduced the 30% lunch discount to 20%. Bummer, although we were not surprised by it since I had checked the member site right before leaving.

Also regarding Holiday blackouts- they do that also for some things. The 10% discount at Hoop De Doo for the 9:30 show was not in place for the Christmas to New Year's week.

We also tried out Yak and Yeti. They are offering a 10% DVC discount, but I believe it is limited to just 2 entrees per order.

Go on the Memebers Web site and look at all of the discounts. We've also used the DVC discounts at restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin, even the one like a cafeteria gives 20%.
