What's the "ding" secret? - I always see them after they expire!

I swear I check the dings (desktop icon) and they either say "nothing available" or the offers have expired. How do you get current offers?

There's a Ding History thread for Orlando in this forum. If you subscribe to it, the Disboards will send you an email when it is updated. There's one that has just come out.

Could it be that your anti-virus software is blocking DING? Mine used to do that before I upgraded to a new version. The envelope would only show up on the DING icon when I disabled the softward and then right-clicked on the DING icon and then clicked on CONNECT NOW. If i did not do that, when I clicked on the DING icon, I got just expired offers, too. Good luck...DING is aaawesome!!!!
