What's the difference between 11A and 11B?

We recently changed cabins to 6071 on the Magic, and I see it's a category 11A. I'm pretty sure we were an 11B before.

What's the difference?

The difference is the stateroom's location on the ship.

Location is the difference. 11A's are more centrally located, while the 11B's are more aft and forward. The cabins otherwise are the same.

Oh, okay!! Thanks a lot for that. I had no idea :)

Our first cabin was an 11B but I found reviews that said it was under/next to the cinema and some people had complained that it was noisy. I asked our TA if there was any other available, and they moved us to 6071 for an extra $20. I just now noticed the category had changed.

Many thanks for your replies!
