What's The Damage??

I was just thinking about all the times I've been in hospital, and I realised it's an awful lot, so I was wondering about everyone elses scars/injuries/wounds/illnesses etc.

In the last 17 years, I've managed to,

Break my leg twice
Break my wrist
Break my collarbone
Break my nose twice (once so I completely mashed up everything and couldn't breath properly until I had corrective surgery)
Get a piece of glass wedged into my arm after the Ealing bomb
Fall off a wall and knock myself out
And have a big nasty operation.

I'm not clumsy and accident-prone, honest!!

(And we'll gloss over the fact that all but 2 of them are due to my own stupidity )

OK where to begin...

Broke my arm
Broke my wrist
Broke my finger
numerous sprained ankles
chipped tooth
Had some wood stuck in my eye
sliced open my hand
developed tendonitis in my toe
and tore my hamstring

Thats about all i can think of for now Ill let u know if more develope hehe

ok. My turn:

one concussion when I hit my head on a waterslide, i also blacked out.

7 stiches on my chin when i fell while ice skating

one broken nose after bouncing off a kid's ankle while doing a flip in the pool

two permenant marks on my right thigh when hot pizza was dropped on me

plus cuts and bruises too numerous to count.

THATS IT, well thats all that i have had to have to go to the hospital. But i have had minor things like road rash, bruises, cuts, bites, but nothing else that i have needed to go to the hospital for.

burn mark on my arm from a pan

Knocked pan of boiling water onto my foot...1-3rd degree burns
Broke right pinky three times

I am so very intresting, I know!

I consider myself lucky cause i never had to go to the hospital just bruises cuts scrapes

i just got home from the emergancy room haha it was ummm fun
they think i have apendicitus(sp?)
its icky!

I have sprained both ankles so many times, I have lost count. They are so weak, thanks to gymnastics, and one serious ankle sprain a few years ago. I also have had my tonsils out, tubes in my eyes twice (when I was a baby) and have slammed several fingers in doors located in various places (at the mall in a parking garage, camping in a trailer, etc.) Oh, I also have a pencil (lead) mark on my right palm from when my brother stabbed me with a pencil when I was 3.

wow, in the past 15 years i have:
twisted an ankle (if it even counts)
busted my chin (no stitches)
inflamed muscle in right wrist after f(alling downv a hill @ horse camp)
had a breathing attack (they thought it was ashma attack but i went only 2wice so they said it was just breathing proble)
slammed middle &ring finger in car door (my ring finger to this day [it was only in may] is still kinda funky)
and then cuts bruises and scars thats it!

And now for the big one...major back surgery. I had a spinal fusion a little over a year ago. And now I have a scar, of which I am very proud of!

i havent ever gone to the hospital for anything other than me being sick so i guess you can say that chuck is really my good luck charm!! but i do have scars from lil things

I am a very clumsy person, but most of these things weren't bad enough to go to the ER.

When I was 21 months old, I was running around, fell, and cracked my forehead open, so I have stiches there.
I broke my right pinky in third grade while playing floor hockey ( I jammed it into the wall big ow), which was banned after my incident
I broke my left pinky by, again, jamming it into the wall while playing a game in gym (6th gr.)
I broke my left ring finger playing volleyball in 7th gr.
I got my right foot broken when some girl kicked it in soccer practice (8th gr.)
I have three scars on my left knee when I fell on the garage foundation.
I have a scar on my left thigh from a guinea pig scratch
I have a scar on my left arm from a dog scratch
I have a few scars on my thumbs from fingernail scratches... don't ask
I have a scar on my right calf from running through the woods playing man hunt. A big branch cut me
I have a few scars on my ankles from shaving One's in the shape of NJ
I remember doing something to my right ring finger in 9th gr. playing basketball, but I don't think I broke it, although that's what I told people
Oh, and I have burns on some of my fingers from picking up a hot dish thing in science. (sooo absent minded )
And finally, I have scars all over from scratching chicken pox.
The only time I was in the hospital was for my forehead, my pinky in 3rd grade, my foot, and going to get a bone scan b/c the doctor thought it was weird that I was so short, and she was worried that I would stop growing when I was 12.

I am very accident prone

Ok, u all have so many more acidents than me... I've neveer broken a bone b4 (knock on wood!)

*when i was 2, i was walking w/ a daisy in each hand and I fell over a crack in the sidewalk and craked my front tooth
*when I was 6, i was playing the catcher in a baseball game w/ all the neighbors. Unfourtnaly, I was a little too close and when the batter swung, BAM! A metal bat right in my chin... 6 stitches
*I have shut my fingers in the car door numerous times, once when there was snow on the ground, so my dad thought quickly to pick snow up and use it as ice
*In 6th grade, I was carrying a box of paper to be recycled and I fell down about 10 metal steps and had some tissue problem from that on my left calf (it still hurts when i get hit there)
*I have loose heel cords in my ankles so I tend to either twist or spraine my ankles from time to time.

Even with all these things, the only time I was in the hospital was when I was born!
