whats the current price for dvc add on.?

Hi....can anyone tell me the current price per point for both SSr and AKLV
We currently own at SSR and are thinking of buying in more....are there any incentives?

I just added 100 points at SSR and I got $10.00 off per point plus a 100 bonus 2006 points.

The minimum for this incentive is 100 points.

Minimum add-on purchase is 25 points. The cost is $104 for both SSR and AKV.

With a minimum of 50 points at SSR there is an incentive discount of $10 per point and a minimum purchase of 100 points at AKV has an incentive discount of $8 per point. With a purchase at SSR you will get all points for your current Use Year. AKV points will be received based on when your unit opens. If you have a Use Year of August thru December, you would still get points from the 2006 Use Year and then another allotment when your Use Year begins again.

There has also been a Developer Points incentive for add-ons of 100 or more points - pay full price ($104) and get double the number of points you are buying as a one-time incentive. These points cannot be banked and must be used within 7 months.

AKV = $104 - $8 incentive = $96
SSR = $104 - $10 incentive = $94

OKW, HH and VB = $92
BWV = $98
VWL = $98
BCV = $101

No, I think the earliest points you can get will be December 1, 2007 for an AKV purchase. You can get 2006 SSR points with an add-on though.

The double developer points incentive requires a minnimum of 100 point add-on at SSR or AKV. In this case, If you add-on 100 points for a March UY at SSR, since March 2007 has passed, you would recieve 100 points for March 1, 2007, 200 developer points that must be used in 7 months, can not be banked or transferred. You can swap them out with an existing reservation and keep those points.
If your UY were Aug thru Dec, you would recieve 2006 points since you would be still in that UY.

I don't think there is a AKV uy for 2006. I think since it is a new property the 1st uy is 2007.

While this has not always been the case, DVC is currently allowing members to exceed banking deadlines when purchasing add-ons - so you should be able to bank points from the current Use Year (October2006) and will get another allotment of points on October 1, 2007.

The decision would seem to be based on the value you place on the developer points (with the 7 month restriction) versus the incentive discount.

I just added on at SSR yesterday and I posted what I got up above. $10 off per point and 100 06 points. I did not get any developer points. They banked my 06 points that I got.
