What's the Cheapest rate for the Value Resorts

I thought it was more than two budgets?

Slightly more, maybe $10-20 more, but it includes a frig w/freezer and microwave & coffee pot. If you rented the frig in a value resort it would cost $10 a night, so pretty much the same. Having the kitchenette will be a big savings, especially on breakfast foods and snacks.

The Family Suites cost slightly more than two value rooms, but they only sleep 6 vs 8 in two rooms.

Do I think we'd get that kind of rate again? Sure -- or we won't be going this year! Staying offsite isn't an option for us, and we only go when we can get something uner $100 for a Moderate. This most recent was my 11th trip to Disney, and our 5th consecutive annually (2002-2006) and in none of those trips did we pay more than that. It's just a matter of waiting for the right circumstances, I think. It's definitely harder now that they don't issue general public codes anymore, but it can certainly happen.

My husband had said he wasn't coming back unless it was onsite- we finally did in 2005. It was so awesome that I am looking for any way I can to get back, but it has to be inexpensive because we need to finish the house and garage first. I just want to go back so bad!!:guilty:

I am checking out your ideas. Still trying to find out if it is less the way you go or the free dining in Sept. We have 6 paying kids out of 7. So it costs more to go.:sad1:

Wish I could have found a rate like that! I have been checking around through AAA since we're members and the cheapest rate I have found for AAA members was 84.15 for us in the regular season (Oct.) , I haven't put in any value dates or anything though.

I added a single night at the POP at the start of our stay in Sept(25th) and my AAA rate was 73.80 including tax. I booked this through CRO. The base rate was 65.90.:)

Wow, if we could get a rate of under $100 a night for a moderate, I'd love to go down in July for a few days! We live in upstate NY and we are driving down to NC for a week. That's half way to Disney! If I could find a rate for a moderate room onsite, I wouldn't have much trouble convincing Dh that we should go the extra miles to visit the Mouse. :woohoo:

So do they ever have specials towards the end of July? I'm like scheming in my head already. Help me out here....codes for July 2007, yes?? Please??princess:
