Am on the Feb 20th Magic sailing out of Miami. Currently I have first night Palo booked.
Trying to get on the Brunch for the sea day - nothing available it says. What do you think my canvass are when I get onboard? Does CC status have any bearing on this? We are Platinum (along with many others I am sure). Just wondering. Also does anyone know what terminal in Miami we sail from and what time we can board?

Thanks!

We sailed out of Miami last April, and could not book palo brunch before the cruise. We went directly to the promenade lounge as soon as we could and booked palo brunch then. They didn’t have many open slots, but they did have some.

You can also go to Palo and if there is someone there they can look to see if there's any openings for Brunch, just remember they're ONLY on Sea Days so be flexible on which day you will accept a seating. Good Luck!

Terminal D I believe. Go to Fathoms at 12:30 PM and they will get you a spot. They always hold a few tables for embarkation day.

I was just on the Magic that had only one sea day so brunch was going to be booked online. We had no problem getting a spot for 2 after check in.

They in fact hold back a good number of spots for onboard booking. Your CC status has no impact since they are booked on a first-come basis. Of course, being Platinum, if you board with group 1, you have a head start to go to designated booking spot which opens at 12:30.

That location is known to change from cruise to cruise. It was Fathoms on the Jan. 14th cruise and Promenade on the Jan. 9th cruise. Check your Navigator. It is on the first page, on the bottom left.

I’m curious now... Did you book late or decide on brunch late? Seems weird that there were no slots when Platinum booking opened.

On the Magic should I go to Palo directly after boarding or is there another location? If I go straight to reservations will Cabana's still be open after?

Make getting the brunch your priority when you board, look in the Navigator and head to the spot where they're making the reservations early. We have made late cruise reservations as Platinums and were also unable to get a brunch.
We just got the reservation area and waited and were given a time slot.

Good luck.

On the last Magic navigators, Palo is not listed as a place where you can book on embarkation day, unlike Dream and Fantasy. I would go to the lounge listed at 12:30, not Palo.

Here's a recent Navigator from The Magic, it shows where to go to make reservations and the times.
I got this from the DCLblog.com, thank you, Scott!
