whats the chances of getting a room for 11/29-12/7?

I never do this. However, DCL may be forcing us to.
Whats the chances of a room (deluxe preferred) being available at the last minute 11/29-12/7? May not know if we need one till our plane lands in Orlando on the 29th!
Waiting to hear if DCL cancels our 11/30 Magic cruise.

According to WDW.com, there is only availability at the GF and AKL. At AKL, the only room available is a savanah view room. I've been following your plight, and I know you booked your cruise on points. Now, just approximating, it will take 323 points for that stay at AKL, the GF would be A LOT more, since only main building concierge is left. Good luck and I hope DCL doesn't cancel your cruise!!

You better check with DVC. We lost 1/2 our points when canceling after 9/11. The points remainig go into reservation points and that is a different status then normal points.

No, and they have not canceled yours either. We decided to change due to 9/11. And as much as they worked with me they have rules to follow. Remember DCL IS NOT DVC, they are in essence, two different companies.

There is almost certainly room at the Swan/Dolphin. They often have discounts for people staying before and/or after a cruise, so be sure to mention that right away. Give them a call at their direct number: 407-934-4000

What is DCL and why would they cancel your cruise? We're staying at the AKL on most of those dates and if you can't get a ressie I'd go through Small World Travel which specialize in Disney travel. Good Luck!!
