I got a clearanced denim Mickey jacket 3 years ago for $12 that has gotten a lot of use.

Probably my 12 oz. glass mug with Minnie Mouse etched on the front, my name on the back. I used it daily for nearly 30 years, before I managed to break it last year.

Went to WDW and intended to replace it, but the size I want only come pre-etched with Mickey doing sports (soccer, baseball, fishing, etc.) stuff...grr. Not even a picture of the palace. I'm still mourning the loss.

I don't know about value by dollar amount but I love my refillable mug from the Contemporary from '02. I use it nearly every morning. That was an awesome trip and every time I use my mug I remember that trip. To me that is priceless.

so many to choose from....:cool1: I think my best fave is my little black purse with Mickey heads stitched all over it,it's so subtle, most people don't notice the theme....or my round silvertone pendant I got last trip,it's like got a pile of crystal 'bubbles' in the bottom portion,3 of which are pink and form a 'hidden mickey' head...again,most people can't see the theme in it.....:thumbsup2
most people don't believe it,but if you go often enough, and spend time looking around, you can find lots of good deals! (the purse was clearanced for 9.99,the necklace less than 20)

I agree with Carla! I've been since they came out with the mugs and my older boys have gone with their dad many times and brought home mugs. We have some from Pop Century, Port Orleans, Pizza Planet and from our last trip the ones that fit in our cupholders. We use them virtually every day, esp. in the summer. It's a useful, wonderful reminder of :smickey: memories!

I got the Canvas Tote Bag in 2007 that was $10 for having spent $40, or something like that. I can't even remember what we bought for $40, but I use the big tote bag all the time! It's so sturdy. I love it. It's especially great to use for the library, which I go to weekly.

I have this same bag and LOVE it.:thumbsup2

I have a pair of "diamond" mickey head earrings I bought on Main St for under $10 and I wear them almost every day.

I got Nice Magic Kingdom Jackets from one of the shops on Main Street for like $15 marked down from $60. No year on them or anything but they fit my boys great still. This was in December 2008. They still fit them and are gorgeous spring or fall jackets.

I agree with disney4us2002, the refillable mugs are part of my daily life when we get home. We have 2 from 07 and 2 from 09. Then I have a random one from DL, so that is a Disney mug for every day I go to work ;-)

Mine is the silhouette I had done of my son on our first trip to WDW -- he was 5 and is now approaching 18. I had a wooden Mickey frame engraved with the date and it's on display in our home. It's not just one of my favorite budget souvenirs (it was like 3 for $15 -- gave the other 2 to his grandmas -- plus the frame), it's one of my favorite possessions period. :goodvibes

We bought the large popcorn in the souvenir tub with the handle and lid. We use this thing almost everyday for popcorn at home. :lmao:

Way better than anything we have actually spent $$$$ on.

My best value souvenirs would have to be things I got for free and then sold on ebay. For example, during the Millennium celebration, we attended the annual passholder party. They gave out a special pin and we managed to get several of them. I had them on ebay a couple of hours later and sold each one for between $40 and $50.

Another example would be the free lithograph they gave out on opening day of Animal Kingdom. Again, we got a bunch of them and I sold them on ebay for $10-20 each. What was funny was that a WDW cast member actually bought most of them from me. She was working that day and couldn't be there to get them.

Lots of other examples I could give but those are the first two that came to mind.

My waterproof Minnie Mouse bookbag that I now use as my purse when at Disney. It was $20 and then Minnie signed it at a meet-n-greet. I've had it for 4yrs and everytime I go I start to think thatmaybe I should replace it...until I get a million questions about where did I get it and how did I get it signed and comments about what a great idea it is. It is perfect for our trips!

I 2nd this one. My sister got me this when I was 14. Am 42 now and still use it ALL the time. Love it! Sorry yours broke.

When my son and I were down at WDW for the Millenium, I bought my boyfriend a sweatshirt at the store next to Casey's on Mainstreet. It was an ESPN sweatshirt and it was just when Disney started carrying their merchandise. Eleven years later and it's still my now husband's favorite sweatshirt. On New Years he got popcorn butter on it and thought it was ruined until I used some Oxy clean on it. Now it's good as new and he's in it almost every weekend.

My aunt used to have a coffee mug with Minnie dressed as a secretary at a desk that she used all of the time until someone stole it off her desk. We've tried to replace it for 15 years and can't find a duplicate.

a metal Mickey head trivet. It sits next to the stove and is used daily.

I buy a travel mug each trip and use one of them every morning for my coffee. We bought a sweatshirt blanket at Epcot and someone uses it nearly everyday while watching tv. Those are probably the 2 things we've definitely gotten our moneys worth on!
