What's the best option when you don't need any PLUS passes?

We have enough pluses left over to last us a few years!

Don't have a trip actually planned, but when we do get one going there are so many big expenses to save for. I thought it would help if I could buy some passes as I could afford them as we work towards our next trip.

What would you do if a 5 day hopper didn't seem long enough but we don't need the pluses that come with 6 or 7 day hoppers? I'd love to get APs and try to work it where we get in two trips, but if that didn't work I am wondering what our next best option would be. I realize its hard to really say without specifics of how long we'd be going, but I just wondered if anyone had any ideas.

When I took my niece, she needed a 6 day pass but no plusses. What I did was buy her a 5 day PH and a 1 day for the day we were only doing MK.

We have lots of hopper pluses left but the last trips we've bought a regular AP. We've managed to get 2 trips at least out of them and still haven't used the pluses.

The break even point for an AP was 8 days, don't know if that is still true with the new pricing.

An additional advantage if you can't do more than 1 trip even if you can extend it past 8 days it's really nice to be able to go to the parks for just a few hours or maybe a meal / show without feeling like you've spent a day of your pass. My DH doesn't spend much time in the parks so it works out great for us that we are able to use APs.

We've got 2 trips planned right now 10days in Nov & 10 days in March I've purchased my vouchers for the APs so we are set. Maybe we'll even get another trip in before they expire next Nov. If we want to do a water park or something we'll use the old passes for that.

Even if you don't use the Plusses the 7 day Park hopper plus could be your best deal if you are going to eventually use all of the days.

A 5 day PH pass costs $228 at AAA or $45.60 Per day.
A 7 day PHP pass costs $301 at Paramount international http://www.gopitravel.com or $43 a day without giving any value to the plus options.

With Paramount you do need to spend $15 shipping but you get a free character breakfast voucher so I call that a wash. These are the best deals I've found without joining something like connections or visiting a timeshare presentation.
